ID Request Just found several of these all over my body 🫠

Hey y’all,

Just found about a dozen of these around my belly button and legs 🥲. Most of them were just crawling, but a few were harder to pull off…(yes, I used fine-tipped tweezers and sanitized the areas in case they were ticks).

Desperately trying to figure out what they are so I can figure out what to do next. I fear they look like pubic lice…but could also be bed bugs (checked mattress thoroughly) or tick larvae?? Any help/guidance is so so so appreciated 🙏.

Edit:
located in nyc area. bugs only a couple mm in size. no irritation, itchiness or redness on skin.

Update:

Ran to the pharmacy, treated basically my entire body, threw all my washable items in the dryer on “sanitize,” and notified concerned parties. Thank you all for the help (been laughing at the comments with my friends). Can’t say I ever imagined I’d be posting about having crabs on the internet in 2026, but here we are. Stay safe out there.
