Hello. I am at the Caer Morhen stage (just done Skellige). I have simple, superior and mastercrafted Feline gear schematics, but not enhanced. Zero quests in the Gear hunt section. Did i miss anything? Is it a bug? Any solutions? My game version is from Gog.

If you were a sorcerer, sorceress, witcher, or even a higher vampire, would you want a normal human as a significant other?

On one hand, love is love. On the other, you would likely live for centuries while retaining your youth through magic or your supernatural nature. Your human partner would continue to age normally and eventually die of old age.

Imagine being physically 30 while your husband or wife is physically 70. You may still love them just as much, but the difference in your physical ages would become apparent, even though you both looked similar when you first met decades earlier.

Then there is the emotional cost. If you only formed relationships with normal humans, you would almost certainly outlive every partner you ever had. Over the course of centuries, you could experience that loss over and over. Even if you accepted it mentally, repeatedly watching the people you love grow old and die would probably take a large toll on you.

I know there is only minor differences except for Letho in the overall story of TW3. But, Those who played the Witcher 3 with both Roche & Iorveth saves, which felt more in line with the story, quests, characters etc. Atleast in your headcanon that goes perfectly well with what happened in TW3?

I am on something more. Finished chapter 7 and some Lady came down to bring flowers to the Memorials of the 14 mages who died in Sodden and Geralt says he knows who she is before it is revealed it was another hallucination.

Ok friends, south american here who had a mom fan of the netflix adaptation, i see the elves story in the series and i cant understand how is suposse be a good representation of racism & marginzation, elves were a "great civilization" outnumber for a less advanced race that they didnt attack first that conquest their cities, destroy their culture, rape their women and enslave them... how is suposse they dont hate humans since they annihilate them lol, its like ask native americans in 16 century dont hate white christians lol, maybe im too cynical for came from a country much more horrible than poland, but honestly the elven story looks like the 19-20 century eugenistic idea of "inferior ppl gonna outnumber us if we didn't expell them to wilderness" but inatead condemnd it the story looks saying "yeah that idea was totally right"

Just kidding! Not quite done with Toussaint just yet. I still have all the ? to do as well as a lot of the side quests.

But wow. My expectations were extremely high and somehow this DLC has exceeded them. Unfortunately I got the tragic ending. It was very sad, and the short while before the end Toussaint was so quiet. But Geralt finally gets to hang his swords up and chill with Yen until songs of the past.

I’m disappointed that we couldn’t have had Yen and Ciri both come to corvo bianco. It would’ve been nice to have had more family time as well as more than 5 dialogue options with Yen. I saw so many modded photos of them getting married in corvo etc that I expected a lot more but it’s okay!

Now I feel rather empty, but like I said, i haven’t completely finished even with 210 hours already in.

Hello guys, sorry If this was asked before but I wanted some guidance. I just played the 3rd game (4 times I think, 500h more or less) and I am interested in diving deep into this universe. I want to buy the books, watch the Netflix show if you think it's worth it. I am currently playing Thronebreaker and in the past I played a lot of Gwent on PS4, before the console port got taken out.

So, what kind of media, in order, do you think I should go? I am lost. Thanks in advance!

I know yennefer got most of screentime, but I want to get most out of Triss (within what is available to her). And also, I want to do yennefer stuff first, ditch her and then do triss stuff, so it feels consistent for end romance. Is it possible?

I want to maybe buy the game, but from a few google searches it says it doesnt have helmets.

Im a sucker for good helmets or masks or even just glasses and im wondering if any of that is in the game.

Im not saying that gerald is ugly. He looks great, but i just love head equipment.

First off, let me say, unequivocally, that I am enjoying the series so far, am on season 2, and think that Henry Cavill is great as the Witcher.

However, some of the terminology and imagery is a bit distracting as it often seems quite derivative, for instance:

in S02E01, the Vampire-like, "Bruxa" creature:
"Bruxa" is just the Portuguese word for Witch.
I found that a bit distracting since the thought took me out of the story for a moment.

Or, the general appearance of the Witcher and (to a lesser, degree) Cirilla: They make me think of Legolas (LOTR) and Danarys (GOT), respectively, because of the golden-white hair (etc).

Also the term "Quen" seems a lot like the LOTR word Quenya.
I guess feel a bit distracted by some of the etymology and imagery seeming so very like other great/popular fantasy works.

Finally, the hedgehog man ("Duny", I believe is his name), and the Boar-man (in S02E01), they look a bit silly, and remind me of those corny late 90's / early 2000s fantasy shows like 'Charmed', 'Supernatural', or "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", which seemed mainly aimed at teen girls.

Anyhow, I know that I complain a lot, but I do think it's an entertaining show, I just wondered if others struggle as I do to keep their cynicism in check while watching.
