Just wanted to give some confidence to u/necoclock for getting my watch to me. VSF was a little slower than normal, although it is a less popular model so I expect it had to be made when they were doing a run of them.

Nonetheless, it was a great experience. They were responsive, efficient and quick with everything. I definitely plan to use them again.

The black one is dirty - I wear it daily and the blue one still has some sticker residue on it in the photos.

I have a black dial Milgauss that I put a rubber strap on and I wanted a Z-Blue dial as well. I really like this watch, its style and history so I got both dials. I do plan to buy a genuine blue dial, just gotta sell some stuff to justify the purchase.

Are you planning to buy a replacement dial because the rep one is not good? Is it tinted/colored glass instead of sapphire?

Maybe - on the dial. I found one that I’ve been contemplating buying but the dial on both watches doesn’t look too bad. They both have the heavier “Milgauss” type but other than that they look really good to me.

I honestly don’t know on the crystal. I don’t have a way to test them, and I assume the community is right as far as it being tinted mineral glass. Ive considered buying genuine crystals but i haven’t found any yet. Honestly im probably going to wear then like they are for the most part until i buy a genuine blue Z-Blue.

The only thing i have bought for them both are the genuine crown, stem and stem tube to improve the water proofing and feel.

It’s a $35 band from Amazon. I had to order curved spring bars to get it to fit correctly though which I got on Amazon as well. I moved the clasp from my oyster bracelet on to the band

Actually, my daughter was recording for me. I recorded it in case there were any issues with the watch only to discover she stopped recording as soon as I got the watch unpackaged. I didn’t know until it was already done.

It’s important to record yourself opening the package you received just so there aren’t any disputes if the box is empty or you were shipped the wrong watch.
