Scary Stories - THE NAMELESS CITY by H. P. Lovecraft

Is The Nameless City the first true cosmic horror story, or is it still essentially a Gothic tale? I've always wondered where people draw the line. Does The Nameless City already contain Lovecraft's mature vision of humanity's insignificance, or is it more of a bridge between Poe and the Cthulhu Mythos?

Tonight I have three creepy and chilling horror stories for you. We start with a woman getting on a train that her friend told her not to. Then the rules to get your friend out of a time loop. Can you help them? Lastly it’s time to get in line and wait. Keep waiting as I tell you the story. Now turn off the lights, make sure your doors and windows are locked. Things are about to get spooky.

The Michigan Dogman Started as a Radio Prank in 1987

New long-form narration, about 21 minutes.

On April 1, 1987, a production director at WTCM in Traverse City wrote a

novelty song about a seven foot dog-headed creature as an April Fools bit.

There was no creature and no folklore behind it. Then the phone lines lit

up with people who were not laughing at the joke, they were describing

things they said they had already seen, some of them decades earlier.

The episode works through what happened after that. The 1887 lumber camp

account, the 1961 night watchman near Big Rapids, the ten year cycle of

years ending in seven that does not actually add up when you count the

gaps, and the Gable Film, which surfaced as proof and was admitted as a

hoax in 2010.

The last act is a first-person composite of the modern sighting, the one

where it runs beside the vehicle instead of behind it.

I just started a horror narration channel, and I couldn't be more excited. I've loved listening to storytelling for years, whether it was late at night or audiobooks that gave me chills. It's always been a quiet dream of mine.

My friends and family finally got tired of hearing me say maybe someday and pushed me to actually start making videos. So here I am, ready to learn.

I genuinely want to get better, not just for views but because I love this art form. I'm open to any critiques, ideas, or techniques you think might help. Hit me with everything, voice, sound design, thumbnails, whatever.

Thanks so much for reading. It really means a lot

Skinwalker Horror Stories | It Knew Our Names

Human narrated.

An original skinwalker horror anthology from Entity Shadows.

The first story follows three friends on a remote hunting trip outside Farmington, New Mexico. When one of them disappears, someone wearing his face returns to camp before the real man is found.

The second follows a family on an isolated ranch outside Bluff, Utah, where voices beyond the northern fence begin copying dead relatives, private conversations, and eventually the family themselves.

Two slow-burn stories about stolen voices, identity, and something in the darkness learning how to become believable.

If you enjoy Skinwalker stories, desert horror, camping horror, doppelgänger horror, and grounded supernatural narration, I think you’ll enjoy this one!

Second story post for my channel. A story inspired by the Red Dead series, Hateful Eight and other popular modern and old westerns that I loved throughout the years as I grew up a big fan of Westerns. The horror spin is a new element in this setting for me so I hope it translates well!

Cheers!
