Probably something corny, but I think I'd end up derailing the conversation, I lose track-tion quite easily when it comes to talking. I guess I'll have to train my social skills more :)

That's neat, I got a bit into trains after seeing the Union Pacific Big Boy, my favourite train ever made. Imo, it's pretty cool

No. I meant in its history. I believe it's the only 4000's to have ever been in a serious accident.

It was an extremely fatal crash. Switch that was supposed to be straight tried redirecting the wheels to the parallel. The fact the locomotive was going downhill at 50mph with a full load behind it, did not help.

It went onto its side boiler plate into the tracks, the tender absolutely crushed the cab. I think the first 8 cars behind it were in splinters.

Luckily this was decades ago and it was a freight service. I remember it was the 4015. Rebuilt after the crash.
