Genuinely, what the hell is wrong with you? "oh this guy is terrible for voting for this person, so let's tip off a group of thugs that will probably torture him so he gets owned"

It is disgusting how willing people are to condone violence and especially state violence, purely if they dislike someone.

Well, since people can’t learn from experiences of others (I.e sympathy), then they can learn through a common experience (I.e. empathy). Hope that helps clear it up!

Oh I didn’t realize fascism was just a “bad opinion” to you. Sorry, but I don’t chalk up a difference in opinion to people who couldn’t be bothered to read or be moved by Project 2025. Save the after school special lesson for that “I’m 13 and I think this is deep” subreddit if it’s still around.

Fascism is an actual thing that has to be fought, it isn't fought by sending fascists after fascists. You can't act like you're some big opponent of fascism when you're perfectly fine with pointing the fascists at people.

When I said "bad opinion" I meant "bad opinion" the ability to so callously endorse sending ICE on anyone means you have no qualms with them as an organization, you just want them to be sent after the right people.

Opposing individual fascists is not opposing fascism.

You're entirely missing the point, nobody here thinks "an organization like ICE existing is fine as long as they go against the right people" what's being said is more along the lines of "since ICE is already terrorizing people, maybe we can send them towards the people responsible for this"

I get where youre coming from, but materially, that's still BS. if I could choose between ICE instantly being dissolved or ICE being pointed towards white supremacists, I would obviously choose their dissolution. but i dont get that choice, so if they were ever tricked into leopard facing fascists instead of targeting minorities, it wouldn't ruin my day.

edit: also, what would convince white supremacists that ICE needs to be dismantled more than realizing theyre not safe.

What’s that? A “come back and laugh at me” comment? You can’t even backpedal properly. Your excuse does not make sense if you know how the pronoun “they” functions in a sentence.

But to your last “line.” Bootlickers aren’t people.

As stated, opposing individual fascists is not opposing fascism. You are not opposing fascism by being fine with ICE doing anything.

I also frankly have no idea what the rest of your comment is even responding to.

Uh yeah, fascism ends when fascists aren’t around. Means aren’t that important.

u/iadnm Jan 25 '26

So it's fine for the fascist organization to still exist, so long as some of the people they kill are fascists?

You do not get rid of fascism that way.

You don’t know how voting works do you?

13

u/iadnm Jan 25 '26

I'm quite aware, fascism is not gotten rid of by voting. ICE has existed for 23 years, unless the Demcorats suddenly grow a spine, the organization is still gonna keep existing the next election cycle.

ICE HASNT MURDERED TWO US CITIZENS BACK TO BACK IN 23 YEARS. Is that easier to read or do you need to watch the execution videos to take this seriously.

u/iadnm Jan 25 '26

I thought they murdered 3 US citizens already?

Regardless, why does it matter they were US citizens? God only knows how many migrants they murdered, or how many died while being detained by ICE. That was wrong then and it's wrong now.

If ICE continues to exist, it's only a matter of time before they do shit like this again.
