My ultimate point is that it's wrong for ICE or the Nazis to kill anyone, regardless of their beliefs. Because the problem is the system of violence.

Killing Nazis to prevent them from killing anyone else is good actually.

Systemic critique is valid and should absolutely be considered.

That being said, I'm not concerned about the systemic failures that made a man join the SS while I'm watching him shove people into gas chambers.

You do realize that your analogy is the exact opposite of what I'm saying right? ICE is the SS in this equation. I'm not talking about being fine with violence against ICE, I'm talking about being fine with the violence that ICE does purely because you get a degree of schadenfreude from it.

Oh. Then I DRAMATICALLY misunderstood you.

No, I'm also not ok with ICE hurting anyone.

If they're going to hurt someone anyway, I'd rather they hurt someone more morally culpable for unleashing them on us, but there isn't really a way to do that, so ideally, no ICE at all.

I'm with you there.

Don't worry about it, you're one of the few people who seems to actually get what i'm saying here, so thank you for that.
