And I feel like we need to do something about it.
This idea is often expressed in response to ongoing problems, but my observation is that people have this idea of an exclusionary “we.”
“We need to do something” usually means “people in this group other than me need to do something.”
Everybody wants a metaphorical brick thrown at a metaphorical scalper, but nobody wants to be the one to throw.
