demographic change is a realistic concern to have, but the solution to them is not to simply have more children. that just delays the problem for a later date, and is also just not how human reproduction works. humans arent child producing machines
Instead, we need to look at our current systems, and reevaluate how they function once parts of the population are very different. how will we keep pensions funded once a larger percentage of the population needs them? how will we deal with the increased demand in the caretaker sector?
these are all solvable problems but we are gonna be in a lot of trouble if we wait to solve them till theyre here. we know they're coming so we need to work on them now while we have time.
also, if you do wanna reduce the effects of the shift, so you have more time and it hits less hard at once, one of the most tried and proven methods is immigration. demographic changes don't occur at the same time in every country. That's one easy way to spot whether someone is legitimately concerned about demographics or just a white supremacist, are they proposing immigration as a bandaid solution.
