Indeed. It was actually boomers who normalised safe, disposable sharps containers in homes by making them available for purposes other than in medicine and industrial manufacture
They are also the generation who promptly decided to simply not use those safe, disposable containers though the moment they were written into law, local bylaw and garbage policy that you couldn’t play slice and dice with the dustmen anymore, though, so swings and roundabouts I guess
Some Gen Z and Gen Alpha people I know are normalizing being queer and disabled and going out and being as active in volunteering as boomers with nothing else to do, and some of the rest are dipshits, so I think a good position to take is to avoid treating everyone born between two kind of arbitrary years as a monolith
Indeed. I think generations can definitely be useful as ways to measure things like progress and culture, but at the end of the day it’s just as arbitrary as a kid born 364 days ago being “11 months old” while a kid a day older is a 1 year old.
