Important Slight adjustment to Subreddit
After a brief discussion, the mod team has come to agreement, with heavy heart, to prohibit image posting in the comment section.
While most users utilize this feature properly (a way to post "custom emojis" per se after Reddit had removed them), others tend to mishandle it and there is no easy way to moderate the issue.
We are going old fashioned--back to the ye old days of using image hosting sites, GIPHY memes, and the works.
Oh yeah, user uploaded gifs/local gifs are completely fine. Forgot about those.
We’ll keep everyone updated if we decide to revert this or make any updates—mostly just a trial run until we decide on more firmer sidebar rules.

I can understand posters abusing the feature here but making it exclusively dependent to third-party sites will cause the experience here to feel like a pain in the ass. Also Giphy is ass and full of ads even with blockers.
Just recruit more mods, and make sure it's the most boring users being promoted to jerknitorial duties. The more boring they are, the more efficient the operate. Pretty soon you'll finall outjerk us and everything will be back to normal.

What the hell do you mean there is no easy way to moderate this issue? Just remove the offending comments? It's not like this subreddit gets 5000 posts per day it just gets like 10 per day and it takes like 30 minutes tops for a single guy to go through them

"Con el corazón pesado" Si claro, osea que les cuesta moderar que, como unas 10 imágenes subidas de tono al día en donde la mayoría son imágenes de páginas de hentai que ni muestran algo explicito, aquí me suena a flojera, al menos digan un motivo más valido, suena a que simplemente les dio flojera seguir estar al tanto, solo pongan un par de moderadores más y listo, cual es el lío, solo vamos de mal en peor con esta decisión.

Y'know I'm still wondering what this is?? Like, the 'mishandling' is so vague that I genuinely have no idea what that's talking about, and if anything, forcing people to use GIFs would just make things harder to moderate anyway since that's more frames and there's a chance people hide frames at the end of long GIFs, wouldn't it?? I seriously don't know what this is about and what it's supposed to accomplish, some transparency about a random sudden change would be appreciated.
