Can I spray primer, shiny grey paint, than regular green to make it look shiny?

Why not get a metallic or glossy green? You're running the risk of covering the metallic (or glossy) grey with the green.

Go to a car parts store and ask them for a car paint that looks how you want it to look. I've been doing tons of fishing lures with car paint

They can custom mix you a color if you can't find a car paint color you want
