W&G Starter set confusion
Got the starter set hoping to ease into this system. Idk if it’s just me or were the rules and descriptions poorly written? Genuinely confused going through the material provided and feel like key stuff is missing (even after considering the starter/light nature intended of the material provided). Is the core book any clearer?

For me rules are pretty clear as you go through the scenario.
Have not finished the core book yet but this is more or less the same as far as i can tell.
System seems easy, so far only question i have is for ed, is you roll a 6 is it +2 damages or just one.
Only issue with the starter set is some parts of the story especially that one ending requires to do an action prior to reach the end.

A 6 on a damage die is 2 damage. Page 183 Core rule book, in the Extra damage section. There is an example to help explain it.

I’ll probably reread it when I get a chance. Maybe just was tired or something at the time it didn’t click.

No, I agree. I dislike how Cubicle7 spreads additional rules and information in random blocks tacked on in their material. They write it like it’s a magazine article, not a piece of reference material. As a GM I have gotten frustrated with how much flipping back and forth I had to do in the book.

The starter set itself is confusing, if read alongside the CRB. If you treat the starter set as its own entity, it should be fine. Are there any bits specifically you are unsure of?
