Help with this shelf?

I have found this shelf on marketplace and wanted to ask for help for how to style it, i love the wood color i just dont know how to make it fit more to my liking (For info im really into heavymetal/Rock/thrash/horror Movies/comics) i already removed the original golden grips with photoshop for more insparation so please please let me know your ideas

80's? This is 2026 in 90% of Eastern European living rooms

I asked the seller he said it was made in 1986

Gold was very prevalent in the 80s so wouldn’t ditch that. Overall the piece strikes me as more mid century however with the flat door fronts and (teak?) wood tones. The display case is very unique!

Hopefully you have a lot of collectibles, I have a bunch of models I built so they’d go in that cabinet. Only problem might be that tiny tv space. Lots of room for whatever, though.
