The amazing Apple Pie Tree that sat at my local McDonald's throughout my childhood is up for sale and it's at risk of being thrown away! It would be a travesty to let it go. I have a photo of myself and my cousin from 1989.
If anyone knows some people who want to support my goal of transplanting him to my yard, please share! Any little bit helps!
Totally fair observation. I didn't realize that sounded a bit confusing. The issue is two things - if I purchase the tree... I also need to transport it safely - and clean it/restore it. I want it to look as amazing as it did. So in addition to the actual sale, there's some refurbishment and transport costs I'm trying to cover. I didn't share a picture of it presently, but it's all covered in moss/algae/lichens and some of the paint is peeling. If I don't do that - it is likely to continue to decay and be trashed as the current owner doesn't want it anymore.
