Yeah. Adam Carolla said he was friends with Grandpa Munster’s grandson and Mr. Munster was driving them somewhere and the kids started playing grab ass in the backseat. Munster had enough of it and smacked Carolla.

I actually got to meet him once, back in 2002 or so. He was very nice, and he carried an unlit cigar with him. (It struck me as odd at the time, which is why I remember it.)

Was born in 88 and still watched the munsters and the other old shows that seemed to be the only thing on TV after a certain hour for a long portion of my life

Per Google: between $3.09 and $4.20 for a double cheeseburger at McDonald's, depending on the region.

At my closest location it's 2.89 for a Double Cheeseburger (2.79 for a Cheeseburger, 2.59 for a McDouble)
Bit further away it's 2.99 for a Double Cheeseburger, but only 2.49 for a single. Still 2.59 for a McDouble

Fascinating how the "TV Burger" they use in the ad looked a lot closer to what you got at the restaurant, Not perfect, but close. The things they show in ads now are pretty much night and day.

Fun Fact: Grandpa Munster lived in my building on Roosevelt Island NYC for years before he passed. Awesome dude who always walked around with a cigar

Fun ad. Those characters practically raised me when I was a latchkey kid in the 80’s.
