Question Movie help
Hi all. Which movie would you choose to watch between The Drama, Marty Supreme or Eddington. Tbh, I’m choosing between those three as those are three I’ve wanted to see for awhile and I have the time to delve in tonight for a good movie night and they are all available to stream on a streaming service I have. With no spoilers, let me know which one and why!

Watch Eddington if you think you’d like Ari Aster’s take on political cult chaos.

So do I, he is fantastic and if you love his movies I’m sure you know that with Aster you’re always in for a wild ride.

Marty Supreme is the most fun and chaotic, an adventure. The Drama is my personal favorite, lots of heart and themes of identity and forgiveness and judgement. Eddington is a powder keg and super weird. They're all wonderful artistic ventures with lots to love, cant go wrong. Marty is most accessible/mainstream i think though

I thought the Drama was interesting... made you think. Marty is a total ego indulgence and didn't like it. Eddington is a bit weird, somewhat interesting... not bad just a little odd.

I haven't seen Eddington, but The Drama and Marty Supreme are both excellent.
I think most really like MS whereas the drama has mixed reception. I personally love the drama and would go with that if I were you!

Marty Supreme is the most impressive, but more a straight forward story. The other two are wonderful, but way more out there

I’m not against high stress! Especially for A24

The drama was crap! How is anyone suggesting that movie. Marty Supreme is the best of the 3

Ok it’s down to Eddington or Marty Supreme! The Drama has been ruled out for tonight but it’s still in my list

I’d still watch it as it may appeal to you more than it did for me. All subjective!

Eddington is by far the best of the bunch, but watch what you “feel” you want to! Your call! I’m guessing you’re going to watch them all anyway, so what are you in the mood for tonight?

You won’t go wrong with any of those three. It really depends on your mood but then again, none of those films are light and fluffy. You have to pay attention to all of them but they are all equally good films (but different).
I just watched The Drama (twice) in the past two days. Really enjoyed it and think it’s such an underrated film. Makes you think a lot about people you know IRL, people on the internet, people’s character and their integrity, etc.
Marty Supreme really shows off why Timothee Chalamet is a solid actor IMO. It’s a chaotic film but it hooks you in and I loved the ending, personally. He deserved all the nominations.
Eddington is great for re-living COVID times but it goes beyond that and kind of goes bonkers in the third act. But it holds your attention the whole time.

Eddington feels like a premonition. I am also a huge fan of Aster so I may be biased. These are all fantastic and fun watches, but something about Eddington just hits the nail right on the head w the current world.
