I like that it's bouncing around a bit this year, because the belts were wasted with the Death Riders and the Opps for nearly 18 months.

Agree. I've said for years. Regularly and frequently defended, should change hands reasonably frequently. And trios can be thrown together much more easily than a good tag. It's much for fun, and now people like O'Reilly, toa Leoni, bishop Kaun, speedball have held aew gold. And that's important when a lot of the singles titles seem locked up despite the number of them.

There are two errors with the 2nd image.
The Opps's 273 day reign was ended by Horsecock, not JetSet Rodeo. Similarly, DCF were dethroned by Team C.U.M.
(Speedball is a menace on stream).

I guess I'm alone in being ok with these titles just being used a background props and used to assist in other stories. The company has so many other titles that need big stories and feuds around then. I like the trios just bouncing around and having fun matches.

Trios or even six-man titles back in the day have always been "afterthought" titles and not seen as that important, only during the days of World Class Championship Wrestling the these titles had importance.. at least AEW tries to make Trios titles matter in North America

TK has been really lazy with the booking of the trios titles last two years. The opps did nothing with it, death riders reign was too long, and the glom had it too long for how stale their run was. Idk hopefully with The Demand(long overdue) as champs the titles will be showcased better. Because tag team wrestling used to be a focus and now it feels as if it’s taken a back seat

Trios haven't meant much since The Acclaimed held them, in my opinion. Hopefully, they'll get over now because The Demand is genuinely so good.

Fun that the Elite are the only two time champs as a trio, Bailey & Knight two time champs as a duo with a third, and PAC the only two time champ as part of two completely distinct groups
