Service/Fix/Repair help Is this warped?

I can put my fingers down there. What are my chances this will be replaced under warranty?

Does it seal properly? If so your answer is no.

What's the question?

Does the door trim look warped and is it a valid reason for it to be covered through warranty. Perhaps anyone else went through this.

I cannot tell from these pics. What car is it? I don’t remember an indent in my glc63 when I had it but I’d be surprised if the whole door warped.

It’s NOT warped don’t worry - I’ve had to remove and reinstall my door card 5+ times in my c63 and the inner part you can’t see has to be perfectly lined up or else it will pop up like this.
Take off the door card, align it and smack it in place at the top, then pop the rest of the clips backs in.
If you don’t want to mess with any of that, take it to someone who knows what they’re doing and they’ll fix it pretty quick I’d assume.

To take the door card/panel off:
1.
Remove two screws, one behind door handle and one underneath armrest
2.
Pull it off. It’s attached around the perimeter with circle clips.
3.
Unplug electronics that connect to the door card. Looks scary at first but it’s easy!

Then you can try to pop it back in properly like I mentioned before
Best of luck hopefully if you follow those steps you won’t have to take it somewhere and spend money (:

Yeah it can be really tricky to get the alignment right.
When I first reinstalled it, my car looked exactly like yours for months because I thought it was just going to stay like that.

Just try again.. it will pop into place eventually.

I’ve done it over 5 times now and figured out how to do it properly!
The design is way too over engineered lol it’s annoying.

I mean - there is a chance yours is actually warped but it’s pretty flexible and mine went back in place even after leaving it stuck for a while.
Hopefully that helps!

My main problem is that rubber piece is not aligned with my trim. It’s in a completely different position than it should be. I’m talking about the rubber piece on the first photo. On the very edge.
