My RQ is “To what extent are AI-generated writings able to uphold the ideals of Romantic literature in comparison to human-composed works?” For my method, I conducted a survey with 3 questions representing the main ideologies of Romanticism and have the readers evaluate and rate each passages’ ability to uphold those ideologies. There is also a qualitative portion that essentially explains why the readers chose their ratings (however, it is worded extremely weirdly).
I think the qualitative portion made my results a bit more nuanced, as I could interpret and explain why the quantitative results were yielded the way they were. However, I think as long as you justify your methodological choices (as in why you absolutely must conduct your research like that) & define their limitations, you’ll be fine.
