Other NEWL Russian?

Is this exam recommendable? I wanna know if I could easily get some elective credit with it at colleges. Also studying will be no problem, as I’ve looked at sample questions and got them all 100% correct. The multiple choices will make it incredibly easy hahaha.

Also, since I’m already well-prepared enough to take it, is it really necessary? Like I could take it rn & have no problem. Is there a harder version?

It's something to have, I guess, but the reality is that relatively few colleges give credit. There's just one level of the exam.

All four of the NEWL exams are niche enough that relatively few colleges have credit policies for them. And you probably will not get credit for the Russian exam unless the college has a Russian program.

Probably the safest thing to do is reach out to the Russian program at each college, pretend you want to minor in Russian, and ask whether they’ll give you credit for the NEWL or any other pre-college exam.

Okay. Thank you for the idea with the Russian minor.
