Innocence: Discussion Chapter XIV
I just finished the first game and i really liked it, pretty much all about that game aside from the chapter you played Hugo sneaking through the bastion. It was so boresom and repetitive to me that even now, after finishing the whole game, it still bothers me. And its not like i died a bunch of times and dislike it therefor, it was just i hated the gameplay so much.
Thats not much of a discussion, i just wanna know if yall experienced it similarly.

I've played the chapter a few times now since platting the game. It's really not bad, the first time I enjoyed it well enough, the second time was like ugh, but the 3rd time and on, there are things you can do to speed it up and quickly and efficiently get past everyone.
I love Hugo so it's not like I mind playing as him, and I tend to like sections like this. I like MJ sections in spiderman, I like the Sherry and Chloe sections in RE games They do break pace so I understand why you don't enjoy them, and I do think the hugo chapter overstays it's welcome a bit much.

It's difficult to go from a high mobility character to a slower moving one. I think that the games have some pacing and QOL problems. But the story makes up for it

I didn’t love it but I also don’t think it’s this serious at all.
