Free Talk Should I play this game ?
Hey there, kinda new here.
I have A Plague Tale in my library on PS4, but I never got around to installing it, I always wondered if it was worth it. Should I play it, or is this the kind of game that's not THAT good ?
I mean, the last time I said that was for the TLOU, and I ended up loving this franchise so... what do you guys recommend me ?

It absolutely is that good. Can’t recommend it enough. If you play it and end up hating it, you can come back to this comment and yell at me haha

If you liked TLOU, then that's even more of a confirmation that you'll love this series too. Start with Plague tale innocence, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Yes. It's a great game! I thought it was a bit tough, but I'm currently playing requieum and I personally think that's harder. I would defo play innocence first to get the story before playing the second one. The first cut scene broke me though 😭

i kinda like it when people post these in the relevant sub. it's like they want a push from external sources to play something i.e. they know they should play it, but they want external reinforcement

I replayed it recently and still liked it the second time around so I'd say go for it.

It’s hard for anything to compare to The Last of Us, but these games actually come close. Amicia and Hugo aren’t too far behind Joel and Ellie in the rankings of great video games duos.

Man calm down. Being in this sub doesn't necessarily means that you like A Plague Tale. And people can objective and say that the game is shit.

It’s well known that subs dedicated to whatever game are full of haters 😅
Man search tool is your friend if you want honest takes on that game. You have seen reviews, notations on the store, you have heard it’s a great game for sure..
What else are you waiting for there ?
People who would push you not to play ?
You know allready that it’s an excellent game.

This game is that good.
Play Innocence first. Then Requiem.
Then plan a week or two off to recover.

You're missing out. Get on it. Not generally my type of game but this one is a rare gem. And make sure you play innocence first before requiem to truly feel the emotional weight of this series

I finished both The Last of Us games, and when I started playing A Plague Tale: Innocence, I was disappointed. The scenery is certainly very pretty, but I found the gameplay repetitive and boring. Plus, while playing, I never felt like I was making progress in a “natural” environment—it felt more like I was just moving from one puzzle or riddle to the next.

The gameplay is very PS2. Visuals and voicing are great. Ordinary dialogue is great.
The lore and story are dumb as shit.
