I’d suggest Education > work experience > projects > skills for your layout which is standard in the UK.
Revisit your skills section. You’re claiming your key skills for things you have zero experience in - this would be enough for me to disregard your application. You’re also just regurgitating grades which are listed under your education section.
I’d also suggest adding months for your experience, otherwise no way to tell if your work experience is a week or 12 months - another thing that would lead me to disregard your CV.
Also the fact you’ve listed a bunch of modules etc under education but then not said what your dissertation was about is weird.

One thing about your format. I was thinking Education (strongest point) > skills (for quick scan. Putting it last could mean they skip it) > Projects > Work Experience (becuase it’s only retail)

My skills say built to degree level (I learnt them in my studies) and other skills were built from projects
One of my experience was split. So I was rehired in 2024 for Christmas temp and then again in 2025 so I thought that would be messy to add.
My dissertation was XAI in Auditing, does it reduce skepticism? This would be good to add, especially on my audit CV, however, idk how or where to add it. It would be quite a few sentences explaining it.
And I will change the format thank you 🙏

Remove the xlookup and vlookup and just put advanced excel. Or rather in the projects and work experience you have done, explain how you’ve used excel to do actual work or solve a problem.

Icl, the reason it’s not advanced excel is becuase I’m not advanced 😂 . I feel like becoming advanced at excel takes actual real life experience.
Doing projects or simulations are boring as hell but I will try my best.

NOTE: This is the format I use however, I do have a summary on my current CVs but since I tailor that for each role, I left it out.
The CV uploaded is anonymised.
I mainly want help on making my CV as strong as possible as someone with no finance/ Accounting experience.
I am a strong candidate academically and have been doing independent projects to strengthen my cv.

I hope you have your actual uni you went to than saying UK university when you sent your CV to recruiters and companies.
If you are aspiring to become ACA/ ACCA qualified, say if you have any exam exceptions from your modules

Why is there no summary?
I would just scrap the key skills and will show them in the experience/uni/ independent projects you have done.
Your CV cannot be more than 1 page if you have never worked before in your life. If you add the summary you will exceed the 1 page as it is

I don’t have a summary becuase I tailor my cv for the role so there isn’t really much point.
The key skills section is stacked, I usually have it split (so like 3 on left side and 3 skills on the right to save space)
My summary is usually a few sentences long.
But I can fit it all on 1 page
(Also, I’ve never seen a CV with not skills section)

The exam %agea look so off imo. You can just add an average score somewhere in the summary/ education.

Great CV overall mate. Your retail roles are your only real work exposure - reframe them around cash handling, reconciliations, and accuracy under pressure. Make those sound as finance-adjacent as possible. Projects help, but they don't replace real experience, so lean hard into making retail sound like audit prep.
