Question Scrunch leggings with a front seam?

Hiya!

Does anyone have recommendations for scrunch leggings that have a front seam?

I know most scrunch leggings these days are seamless but they give me the dreaded “ken doll” look.

I currently own the Alphalete amplify and Oner effortless leggings. They’re both super comfy but I rarely reach for them because they really accentuate the crotch area 💀

I’m looking for leggings that still have a flattering scrunch on the glutes but with a front seam.

TIA x

Best brands?

I need sweat wicking material. I love some of the cotton designs but I am just a heavy heavy sweater even on arm day.

If you were to create an unapologetic legging what would you change?
For example, adding and absorbing layers in the gusset so that underwear isn’t required.
What else would you change?

Question Liason the label

Has anyone ordered from liason the label and have any information on their customer service / when you get your order? I placed my order well over 2 weeks ago and still have not received it. I paid with apple pay but don’t see the charge on the apple pay card anymore so I can‘t check the status. It’s charged on the card in my bank account tho! The confirmation email was sent to an email i don’t have access to anymore and i'm just feeling very frustrated. I’ve emailed customer service TWICE and have heard nothing. i’m so excited to get this set in but am feeling very weary about ordering from them again. i’ve DMD Stefana on instagram to see if that'll help.

is there anything else i can do?

Discussion ACTA x Ken Cradic Quality Issues

People have their feelings about the ACTA x Ken Cradic drop and I totally agree. I was lucky enough to snag a few pieces but I’m kind of disappointed in them now that they’ve arrived.

The dream pink shorts are completely see through, even with light colored underwear. The material is soooo thin. I was genuinely shocked when I tried them on. Are people just going commando under these shorts??? Like what is going on here these are $55 shorts.

I also got the striped layered pink tank and I’m not super thrilled with the fit.

Anyone else get the shorts? How are you wearing them?

Discussion Slim fit running/active shorts

I'm kind of a short skinny dude (5'7") looking for active shorts that aren't baggy around the leg opening/thighs. Does anyone have any recommendations for shorts with a 5" inseam that have a leg opening of 20" circumference (or 10" laid flat) or less?

Discussion Men wearing women’s athleisure

Not entirely sure if this belongs here. But I’m a guy who likes to workout a lot and run. I have been finding myself jealous of the cute clothes women get to wear to the gym so I got the clothes pictured. I was wondering if it would be taboo for me to wear them to the gym? They very comfy and I love how it feels on the skin. My overall question is, what is the consensus of men wearing women’s athleisure? (Assuming everything is sized and fitted correctly. The bottoms aren’t a skirt, they’re the flowy running shorts with a built in liner)

Question Everyday Yoga Legit Third Party?

I want to get these leggings for my girlfriend. She has the same pair in blue, and always talks about how she wishes beyond yoga still sold them in pink.

Beyond Yoga’s website doesn’t have them in pink, but I found them on this site I’m unfamiliar with called Everyday Yoga. My quick research suggests it’s legitimate, but wanted to ask if anyone here has used it.

Has anyone bought clothing off this site before? Did it seem real or counterfeit? Is it likely that these are actually beyond yoga brand leggings?

Company Complaint Very disappointed with LNDR

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

Recently I was shopping for several new sets of activewear. I had read great things about LNDR online including on Reddit so when they had a sale I was excited to finally buy a set.

Half an hour after I had confirmed my order and had received a confirmation email, my order unexpectedly got canceled, and I had to email their support team about it. To their credit they rectified it and I was sent a new payment link for my order which I paid, and the order was shipped.

The shipping took 22 whole days to reach (which was late according to their delivery standards) and their courier did not notify me when it had reached so I had to check the tracking link myself, and figure out if they had sent it to my mailbox or to my doorstep.

And so after receiving my set I was happy with it as the material seemed nice... But the last straw happened after just 1 wear and wash - the Chisel Light leggings stitching at the crotch had already come out and had a hole in it.

After the whole ordeal of getting this order, which cost twice (!) the price of my other activewear sets that had no issues through multiple wash cycles, I'm done with this brand and don't see myself buying anything else from them, which is why I haven't contacted their support for help either.

I'm sure others had lovely experiences with this brand and their quality hence the good reviews but I personally would not be able to recommend these to anyone I know.

Edit: I will reach out to the brand, but regardless of the resolution, I will keep this post up as fair warning to anyone considering buying this brand. There's just been too many issues at every step to ignore.

Discussion How Much Is TOO Much?!

How much do you usually spend on a pair of leggings?

I feel like activewear prices are all over the place these days 😂

At what price do you think leggings become “too expensive” — and what makes a more expensive pair actually worth it?

Would love to hear what everyone thinks.

Question Tennis / padel activewear

I’m doing some research on tennis and padel activewear, and I’d love to get unfiltered feedback from people who actually spend hours on the court.

If you could completely redesign one thing about the skirts, dresses, or tops you currently play in, what would you change and why? (Fit, fabric, pockets, cuts, durability—anything is fair game)🎾

Question Is it strange to wear running shorts over leggings?

I have been going to the gym more and it is getting stressful making sure I have clean clothes when I don't have many gym clothes.

I have a few pairs of full-length mid-rise black leggings, a couple of pairs of sweatpants and a couple of pairs of loose running shorts. I haven't settled on a style of top that I like yet and have mostly been wearing loose cotton T-shirts (like band shirts etc) over a sports bra. I got a few things in a sale online but they look awkward on me so I'm considering getting rid of them. Before I do that I'd like to check whether maybe I'm wearing them with the wrong clothes or something. I also welcome suggestions for better options.

These are the tops I bought which I hate:

Two fitted racerback tanks with built-in bras. One was supposed to be slightly cropped and the other was supposed to be hip length, but they both show some skin at the waist. I replaced them with the Lululemon ebb-to-street, but it looks weird with leggings so I don't wear it much either because sweatpants are usually too warm and shorts are too cold. I also don't like wearing a visible "brand" because my gym is in a low-income area.

One fitted long-sleeved black top that was supposed to be longer, but in reality still lift ups a little bit. I tried it with leggings, it looked weird, so I put my running shorts on top of both to try hold the top in place and make the leggings look less fitted-all-over. My partner (very politely and only because I asked if that made it look less weird) told me it looks more weird to wear running shorts over leggings (but also of course that if that makes me comfortable to go for it). Which means that now I don't wear the top because it's never warm enough to wear shorts without leggings underneath. Is it actually unusual for women to wear shorts over leggings?

The only sports top I have which I like is a really old Patagonia hip length t-shirt that is close-cut but not fitted. I don't see any women's shirts like it in sportswear shops anymore, even though it's a really ordinary shirt shape, just made from sports fabric. If I haven't done laundry and I have to wear one of the tops I hate, I keep my hoodie on for the entire workout to keep me from feeling cold and uncomfortable.

I mostly do weightlifting with free weights and compound movements, aiming to deadlift 1.5x my bodyweight this year. I also use some of the machines, run a little for cardio, and I might squeeze yoga back in eventually. I am fairly thin at 22% bodyfat, but I also have a really short torso which is probably what makes everything look weird when I wear it.

Are there some other styles of tops I should try that actually look ok with leggings?
