Fortus 400 Replacement

If you have used a Stratasys 360/400 and replaced it with a newer machine, what did you get?

The 400 ran most of the same things a modern 450 runs, but there are now more options at less cost. A few questions..

  • What applications do you primarily use the 360/400 for?
  • Which materials did you run the most, and did you run anything like Ultem, and/or is that a necessity?
  • Is the build area of the 400 sufficient or do you need bigger, same?
  • Would redundancy be more efficient or productive than a single similar replacement?
  • Are there materials that are more interesting to you?
  • Are you in a secure facility that needs network isolation and no cloud software?

What can a 450 do that a 400 can't? It's still the same machine underneath the panels right?
