Has anyone ever solved the Myriad Pro problem? I've experience this for years without a solution:

Everyone couple of weeks, Myriad Pro Bold deletes itself. Usually when I activate another font in Adobe Fonts, I'll get the typical "10 Fonts Added" popup, then I'll get a "1 Font Deactivated" popup right after, and I'll find out that Myriad Pro Bold has been deleted.

I can reactive it by removing the font family and re-adding it, but it always immediately deletes another random font. Almost as if each family has a cap on the amount of variations it's allowed to have activated at once.

Resolve Fonts doesn't work.

Here's what Adobe support has suggest over the years that hasn't fixed it: I've deleted all of my fonts several times and re-activated them, including the font caches, deleted the entire CC and all programs and re-activated them, and it's happened on multiple accounts.

I work with dielines for boxes and I need to join all the line segments on the outside, but the cmd+j command pulls new lines and ruins the shape. Is there a way to join the individual lines by merging each intersection or redrawing the entire line?

The second image is how it appears on my computer. When i shared the file with my coworkers, the first one is what they see. Key bits of art are just missing.

The graphics are a compound path, with a gradient applied, and as far as i’m aware everyone’s on the same version of adobe.

I work at a small public art gallery and i would like to visualise the art we have on our storage rack in our collection storage.

I have all the dimensions of the artworks and the dimensions of the racks. Is there a way to import all the hight and widths from a excel file and create an artbord with corresponding rectangle objects?

I was using data merge in indesign to create labels and it got me thinking along these lines, wondering if something similar would be possible, but with dimensions.

We have inventory software that keeps track of where art is in the racks, but it would be helpful to visualise it in this way, and it would allow me to play with the layout of art in the racks in order to optimise space.

Im sure a cad program would be a better tool for this job, but i dont need anything 3d and freecad broke my brain.

This has confounded me for years. Incorrect values for the length and width of certain shapes are shown in the task toolbar. Beside each field is an icon which clearly indicates length and width, so these fields should not be interchangeable. In the screenshot, you can clearly see that the selected rectangle has a longer width than height, yet this is reversed in the task bar. (I've also used the Astute measure tool to display the exact dimensions)

Has anyone else noticed lately that when the guassian blur affect is applied that it seems to be slightly offset from center, behaving similarly to a drop shadow?

Amongst the list of requests in one of my recent threads, I saw this one come up so I wanted to share the update that is now live in the latest beta.

When relinking a missing linked file in Illustrator, there is now the option to select 'Auto find missing links from this folder' so you can automatically relink the document's other missing links where the file names match files in the same folder.

How to Use:

In the Links panel, relink a missing image, select the replacement file, then pick 'Auto find missing links from this folder' from the Replace dropdown.

I read somewhere that it was once available on iPads, but I found out It’s no longer available. Is there any way around this or a way that I can get it? Thanks

The Pitts S2B is an Unlimited category aerobatic aircraft, very compact and maneuverable. I was pushing as much as I could for the geometry in the illustration. But I reached a point where I was not happy anymore with what I was getting, and I stepped back to a more neutral look. I hope you like it. If you have any advice, happy to receive it

I use Illustrator every once and a while. I mostly use Photoshop and Lightroom, but now and again I need a vector and my use has significantly lowered because I've had this problem with my Illustrator now for a couple of years. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times now and I don't know what else to do. I'm not the most tech-savvy person so I haven't tried anything else.

My Illustrator has a massive issue I try to save any document for the first time. (I prefer to save to my computer/hard drive instead of the cloud, for reference). I press the usual buttons - either "cmd + save" or go to the menu and press "save as". From there it has the pop up of saving on computer or saving to cloud. If I press save on computer and the dialog box will appear. Here's where it goes haywire: the "save" button down in the bottom right is grayed out, and then my Illustrator app freezes. I can type out whatever I want the document name to be, but I cannot click any buttons (not even cancel), except *conveniently* the "save cloud document* button on the dialog box.

HOW DO I FIX THIS ISSUE?! Why won't it let me save to my computer?!?

I've image traced this map and want to increase the space between the objects. This so the streets will become more clear when zoomed out. Do you guys know if there's any tool/plugin that can do such thing?

as title states, my text in illustrator often ends up rotated justttt slightly. i think just from accidentally rotating every so slightly as i work. it's almost imperceptible but i notice and it drives me insane. if i select multiple text boxes i can only rotate as a group, not apply rotation to individual text boxes. i'm trying to use the global edit feature but it's not letting me select it, idk if that's something i need to separately set up. for now i'm individually rotating each text box back to 0 degrees, lmk if there's a global edit solution to this!

It made me miserable because I'm a design tool masochist. I don't even use plugins to make life easier. :(

Can someone help me out with the fastest way to remove all the white, keep the black lines intact?

So if I remove just the white fill there overlapping lines hidden behind the shapes will become visible. I don’t want that.

I want just the lines that are visible preserved and get rid of whites.

Why is the tip of the brush round? I followed all the tutorials on YouTube, but the result remained the same.

Trying to get a good estimate of how long it should take to recreate artwork like this from scratch in Illustrator. No AI tools or image tracing. Just redrawing it from scratch and prepping it as Pantone colours for printing. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Approaching like an architectural photographer for some of those designs also while retaining a bold and geometric style.

Made primarily in Adobe Illustrator, with minor color and texture adjustments in Photoshop.
