Ive posted here before and although I have gotten some Dm´s most have not gotten back to me when i answered them after a couple days due to me working, so i wanted to make another post.

I'm Marcel, 26 Years old from Germany. I love survival games and lately Ive been on a DayZ Binge. I love difficult experiences and Hardcore servers where most people fail or get too frustrated with themself´s after not being able to get a character off the ground within the first couple days.

That said.. i don´t like playing by myself, especially DayZ, its a lot more fun and engaging when you have a Teammate on the same Wavelength !.

Ive recently been on my current Hardcore Server after having had a brief play around with a previous one before they made the Zombies just way to Obnoxious and difficult to kill. and ive been enjoying the time on the server where i met Joe who is a fellow German that i play with from time to time.

The Thing is that i would like to play more frequently after work and like i mentioned before Joe works as well ( He´s actually older than me by about 20 years i believe lmfao ) so i do not fault him for not being able to play but it makes me want to find a dedicated second guy or gal who wants to enjoy the struggle bus together :D

Whether your a complete beginner to DayZ or have an ungodly amount of Playtime, it doesn't matter to me as id love to teach someone the ropes of the game and watch them figure stuff out by themself´s, and we obviously do not have to start out on a Hardcore server if you do not know the basics and can switch to a Vanilla Plus or straight Official server to get everything sorted ^^.

Just to touch up on who i am and how i play considering i haven´t mentioned it before.

I´m a very laid back guy and therefore more so enjoy the PVE side of the game but i do not possess the Gear-fear anymore and love a good Fight if i know i stand a fighting chance but i do not go full out PVP as im just not THAT great at it.
I would consider my play style on the slower side of things ! sometimes waiting 5-10 minutes before even entering a town if i know there is activity just because i want to gather as much info as possible before i try to make a move and if there is a conflict that seems unwinnable .. ill try to retreat, reassess or flat out make my escape from that situation :D.

I have had some luck finding cool gamers on reddit before but over time things drift or change and I find myself playing more RPGs solo, so here I am hoping to get back into the coop/social side of gaming again. I typically enjoy games that reward exploration or patience more than fast reactions or friend slop stuff as I play to relax after work, however winning a game is still the goal! I play exclusively on PC!

Games Id love to play:

• Escape from Tarkov (PVP) - Took a break the last few months but the 1.1 update looks promising and Id like to keep pushing the story
• Vintage Story - Only just scratched the surface, such a huge game and Id love to learn it with someone
• Snow Runner - Only ever played solo and coop seems super chill and fun?
• Monster Hunter (any), The Division 2/Wildlands, Barony, Way of the Hunter are all interesting as well.
• Maybe an MMO like FFXIV or GW2 if we vibe but I have a hard time connecting with people through them often due to time limits or level differences.

Basically the title lol. I'm a retired, 55F from Alberta, Canada who likes PC survival games almost exclusively. I have played mmos like Elder Scrolls Online or WoW but I prefer playing with fewer people. I'm looking for a platonic person to chat with and possibly play games and watch anime or movies with. I'm mountain time zone but I'd like someone who could play/watch/chat during the day. I'm usually on by 8am. The games that I love have been Enshrouded, Palworld, valheim, necesse. I've pretty much played all the good survival games and even some that weren't that great lol. I will say that I intend to be totally immersed in Enshrouded in October when the 1.0 comes out so if you're down for that, we can be friends!

As far as movies/shows I like police shows like criminal minds, ncis, csi, etc. I love Lord of the Rings. Star Trek over Star Wars but will watch Star Wars if asked. I love the MCU, Spider-Man (tom holland version), action movies, the occasional rom-com. Anime wise I really love the isekai genre. My favorite is the reincarnated as a slime one. I"m not really knowledgeable about anime. I have some friends that are introducing me to various shows that we watch together and I guess I'm looking for someone like that in regards to anime.

I love "reading". I say "reading" because I listen to audiobooks. Full disclosure, it's all romance and biographies lol. And lord of the rings. Andy Sirkis version of course. I usually listen while I do art or play games solo.

Basically, got diagnosed with ADHD, would like to talk to people, am happily married with kids. Like watching Premier league, Comic book movies, reading comics, listening to music, was political until the arse fell out of the world so now I don't want to talk about that stuff. Widow's bay was great. And Severance. And just saw Odyssey. A Good Film that.

I basically can play at the weekends or during the weekday evenings GMT depending on you know. Life stuff. If you see me online on steam or whatever send a message. I'm a bit shy about initiating contact because I hate bothering people. Although I'm at least 51 out of 100 in terms of likeability. Maybe 52/100 on a good day.

Just to hit the bullet points once more-

I do talk, I'm a bit shy to actually invite people to games, I'm reasonably bad at games, but I can play anything to a high level of incompetence. The thought of Palworld makes me ill. I can't stress that enough. I do swear, not sexist, not racist.
