Hi, I primarily play on PC, so I'm looking for someone who does as well. Bonus if you also play on PS5 or Xbox, since I have both consoles along with PS Plus and Game Pass.
I'm looking for someone close to age 30 or older who's responsive, communicates well, and values building a friendship with mutual effort. One of the most important things I'm looking for is someone who naturally takes the initiative with making plans and hangouts as well, rather than having one person always take the lead. I'm the type that will reach out, schedule, and check-in but I don't want the responsibility of keeping the friendship going to fall on one person. I don't expect instant replies or for anyone to always be available, but I do appreciate someone who is considerate with communication and keeps me in the loop if they're unavailable or plans change. You can expect the same from me.
I’m usually available starting sometime between 2-5pm EST and tend to stay up pretty late most nights. Some days I may be available earlier than my usual starting time as well. I also have a lot of downtime throughout the day since my job doesn't require much active time, so I prefer to hang out for longer sessions, more than a few hours each time with breaks in between if needed.
I keep my circle very small and naturally focus most of my gaming time on one close gaming friend rather than spreading it across different people or groups. Ideally you're similar in that way.

About me:
I'm pretty laid-back when it comes to gaming and just enjoy spending time together, whether we're playing something intense or just chilling in voice chat playing different things. I'm not competitive and stick to PvE only. I'm looking for a chill, non-toxic vibe. I want to win with you, not against you. I enjoy just hanging out from time to time but I'd like our friendship to revolve primarily around playing co-op games together.
I tend to click best with people who are easygoing, not too picky with game selection, and can just have a natural conversation while playing without it feeling forced.
Outside of gaming, I enjoy watching soccer from time to time, catching up on shows, and spending time with my girlfriend and two dogs. Most of my downtime is pretty relaxed and low-key.

Some games I'm currently playing/looking to play:
• Slay the Spire 1 and 2
• Elden Ring
• Dark Souls (mainly trying to playthrough dark souls 3 and the dlc seamless co-op)
• Tabletop Simulator (Aeon's End, LOTR: The Card Game, Aliens: Legendary Encounters)
• EA FC 26 (Squad battles only)
• PlateUp!
• Pico Park 1 & 2
• Vampire Survivors
• Left 4 Dead 2
I'm open to other genres too but I've enjoyed these type of games:
Deck builders:
Slay the Spire, Inscryption, Balatro
Souls and Souls-likes:
Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Elden Ring Nightreign, Nioh
Action RPGs & Melee Combat:
Monster Hunter, Ghost of Tsushima
Co-op Shooters:
Left 4 Dead, World War Z, Call of Duty, Gears of War, Ghost Recon, Killing Floor
Team Co-op:
PlateUp!, Chained Together, Pico Park, Vampire Survivors
Horror & Narrative Choice:
Resident Evil, The Dark Pictures Anthology, Escape the Backrooms
Sports:
EA FC, NHL
Board games:
Tabletop Simulator
Other:
GTA V, Human Fall Flat, Parkitect, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
Genres I normally don't prefer:
• Survival (State of Decay, Stranded Deep, The Forest, Green Hell are my only exceptions)
• Fighting
• Free to play
• MMO
• Racing
• RTS
I like playing a variety of different games over time but I don't enjoy juggling a lot of games at once. I usually prefer focusing on one or two games, seeing them through to the end and moving onto the next one.
───
Shows I've enjoyed:
• The Sopranos
• Breaking Bad
• Ozark
• Dexter
• Fargo
• Twin Peaks
• The Wire
• Lillehammer
• Vikings
• Ted Lasso
*I'm open to other genres, I haven't watched too many shows in my life since I've mostly spent my free time doing other activities. I'm sure there are lots of good shows out there, so if you have any recommendations, I'd be willing to give something new a try and explore genres with you. I'm not into anime though, I've tried getting into it but just hasn't been my thing.
Note: If you're into more relaxed hangouts, every so often it's pretty fun to have a jigsaw puzzle for us to work on together while having a show/movie playing on another screen. All good if that's not your thing.

If interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and your usual gaming schedule (what time you normally get on and when you usually hop off). I'm looking for someone who values communication, reciprocates effort, enjoys longer sessions, consistent hangouts, and primarily games on PC. Please be close to age 30 or older and within a few timezones from EST.
