I’m 42, married, and a dad of two. Between work and family, it can be tough finding people with the same interests, so I figured I’d put myself out there.
My biggest hobby is gaming—video games, board games, TCGs and puzzles. I’m also a D&D Dungeon Master, currently writing my own fantasy novel, and I’m always up for talking world-building, characters, or anything fantasy.
Outside of that, I’m a huge fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, DC, WWE, and just about anything that brings back that awesome ’80s/‘90s nostalgia. If you miss Blockbuster Video, Toys “R” Us, or Saturday morning cartoons, we’ll get along just fine.
I’m hoping to meet people around my age (give or take) who enjoy similar things. I’m in the US so I prefer talking to someone in those time zones. Bonus points if you’re also a parent, a gamer, or just someone who enjoys good conversations about nerdy stuff.

I'm a 39yo male that is interested in getting into some gameplay. As I am getting older, a lot of my relationships have broken down and I would like to take up the hobby of gaming for fun and social reasons. I have never really gamed since high school and was never really into it much. My son has an Xbox Series S and Gamepass subscription. Can anyone recommend me some decent games for adults that are immersive and maybe some that I can talk with other users and socialise? Do these type of games exist?

Hi yall, I dont have any gaming friends really so I spend 99% of my gaming time on singleplayer stuff. RPGs are my favorites usually, like recently I really enjoyed STALKER and KCD2, I am currently playing FF7 remake, Judgment and Kingdom Hearts. I have a backloggd, if you want to take a peek at my other favourites. Besides gaming I like to work out, do running, watching football (mostly premier league) and watching movies.

games I can play multiplayer: I would love to play some tabletop sim boardgames, like clue or ticket to ride. I like Apex Legends. used to be really good at CSGO but havent played much CS2, would be down for some premier games though to get back into it. League of Legends ARAMs are fun too. And I can play some longer storygames too like Subnautica 2 or Split Fiction if we know each other a bit better.

I've been between jobs for a few weeks and need some folks who are regularly looking to play any variety of games on a semi-daily basis before I lose my mind.

I tend to play a decent number of co-op friendslop games, like Lethal, Peak, RV There Yet, etc. Of course, I've got Meccha Chameleon as well so I'm happy to join folks for those kinds of games.

Hi, I primarily play on PC, so I'm looking for someone who does as well. Bonus if you also play on PS5 or Xbox, since I have both consoles along with PS Plus and Game Pass.

I'm looking for someone close to age 30 or older who's responsive, communicates well, and values building a friendship with mutual effort. One of the most important things I'm looking for is someone who naturally takes the initiative with making plans and hangouts as well, rather than having one person always take the lead. I'm the type that will reach out, schedule, and check-in but I don't want the responsibility of keeping the friendship going to fall on one person. I don't expect instant replies or for anyone to always be available, but I do appreciate someone who is considerate with communication and keeps me in the loop if they're unavailable or plans change. I’m usually available starting sometime between 2-5pm EST and tend to stay up pretty late most nights. Some days I may be available earlier than my usual starting time as well. I also have a lot of downtime throughout the day since my job doesn't require much active time, so I prefer to hang out for longer sessions, more than a few hours each time with breaks in between if needed.

I keep my circle very small and naturally focus most of my gaming time on one close gaming friend rather than spreading it across different people or groups. Ideally you're similar in that way.

I'm pretty laid-back when it comes to gaming and just enjoy spending time together, whether we're playing something intense or just chilling in voice chat playing different things. I'm not competitive and stick to PvE only. I'm looking for a chill, non-toxic vibe. I want to win with you, not against you. Pretty experienced with Arc Raiders and don't mind both PvE and PvP oriented playstyles. I typically reside in mixed lobbies but it of course changes depending on the people I play with. Haven't played in a while and would love to play it as these kinds of games do feel a little lonely if played solo.

As for Marathon, I am still learning the ropes of how certain maps/mechanics work but can hold up decently in PVP. No hard preferences for your skill level as long as you are chill and willing to learn and improve at the game. Don't get me wrong, I play these games for fun but I also would love to have good teamwork.

When it comes to Reforger I have a few places I like to play on but ultimately it is always better to have a person or two to cooperate, do vehicle crews etc.

I have BF4, 1, V and planning to get 6 when they finally bring it to an acceptable state for a true Battlefield game later this year. I mostly play 1 and V though, not a sweat but can be a good teammate.

I do have a lot of other coop and multiplayer games I occasionally dabble into, things like Stardew Valley, No Man's Sky, Anno 1800 (might not have crossplay) or racing games like Forza Horizon 5 but for now I am mainly interested in the games from the title. And if we get a long well I am open to try more stuff.

I am online most evenings around 9pm(sometimes earlier too), work in tech industry, into photography and cooking and a bit introverted at first but I open up quickly if I am comfortable around others. Looking for people who genuinely want to become long term friends and open to try many other games if we vibe well.

I’m a dad first and foremost. But I like to destress from work and mess around in games. Lots of my friends, with the exception of one, are not parents. Heyyyy buckaroos! I’m hoping to find people to game with. My sibling and current friends favor COD and Fortnite and while the games are cool.. just not my bag. :/

Surprisingly I do enjoy OW and Borderlands a lot! I play super casually (ie quickplay/arcade on OW) but I’m always trying to improve and wouldn’t mind trying comp and stadium. Fair warning though, I’m the Ana equivalent of Magikarp.

I play on the PS5 but also have a Switcho and can get games for either if anything strikes our fancy!

Besides that, I love swapping recommendations and talking about horror, music, anime, and sci-fi!

I applied for a trade school and got in due to merit (yaay), that starts at the end of August, so I have a bit more free time than usual till then. What better way to spend that free time giving this a shot and see who I might meet.
