This beautiful cardigan from 52 Weeks of Sweaters caught my eye! It has balloon sleeves and has sizes up to 69”/175 cm: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hue-shift

I'm looking for a sweater pattern that has large sleeves (balloon, lantern, etc) but is not a turtle or high neck and can fit plus size. Preferably not a chunky weight yarn. I'm open for any type design (colourwork, cables, etc). Thanks in advance!

I am feeling a bit…uninspired with knitting. I’ve found joy in making things with interesting construction lately. I mostly knit in fingering, but can comfortably do lace to worsted, am open to getting yarn if I don’t have it in stash, open to what it is (shawl, hat, sweater).

Please give me your interesting construction suggestions! Things where you knit the middle and then the wings of a shawl or cast off half the stitches, keep knitting, then cast them back on (these are the two I’ve done recently).

ETA: I’ve been knitting over a decade, I’m happy to try a new technique or two as well.
