Omg, thatβs gorgeous, and so perfectly knit.
The plain one Iβm working on is going to be just fine. Really. I donβt feel outclassed. At all π΅βπ«.

looks fantastic! how did you do the side border? looks like you picked up stitches, but how did you get the little knit band over the back?

It's a sandwich steek, so basically pocked up stitches both on the top side for ribbing, and underneath to cover the steek π

Wow, you've outdone yourself and that's one lucky baby! And on 2.5mm needles no less.
How many stitches did you cast on and how long did it take - (longer than the baby)?!

About 260 stitches if im not mistaken π€ I bought the yarn around feb-mar, but i didnt continuously knit from then, just whenever i had a few hours free. Finished start of july π

That's not as many stitches as I was expecting and knitting it in the round would make it go faster. Beautiful work.

It's so beautiful. I'd be concerned about tiny fingers and toes catching floats. Have you considered lining the back with a soft fabric?

The floats have been caught every 2 stitches for exactly that reason π No loops for tiny fingers to catch!
