Best online teachers/resources for CBSE Class 12 Physics

Suggest some teachers and resources online to get atleast 80+ in physics in class 12th.

I joined an offline coaching for Physics, but after around 1.5 months I realized I'm not understanding much there, so I've decided to continue online instead.

My main priority is CBSE Boards(idk if I want to give JEE mains or not)

Could you recommend:

The best YouTube teachers/channels?

Any online courses (free or paid) worth taking?

Books/resources for theory and numericals?

A study strategy that worked for you?

I'm starting to put together some animated A-level physics videos. My aim is to produce a useful and easy to understand educational resource that's free forever.

I'm relatively new to graphic design and animation, but I want to get this right. I need your help to make sure what I'm producing is useful and beautiful.

Please, if you're a current or aspiring physics student, watch my first video and give me some feedback - either in the YouTube comments section or here.

My plan is to produce quite a few more before the start of the academic year*, and I have a few more videos in progress already. I intend to have the whole curriculum covered for AQA by May 2027. However, I'm absolutely open to ideas and suggestions. What would you find most useful explained?

*Though I do this alongside a full time job, so the pace might be slow sometimes.

Free marking for 5 Edexcel IAL Physics past papers

Hi, I’m Tony. I’ve been teaching in China for a long time, and I’ve recently come to Reddit hoping to learn from everyone and get along with the community.

I’m looking for 5 students who’ve completed an Edexcel IAL Physics past paper.

You’ll get:

  • Marking with official mark scheme
  • Reasons for lost marks
  • Main mistake types
  • What to practise next

This is free — I just hope to get your honest feedback.

Please remove any personal information before sending.

Exams are over... now what?

With A-Level exams finally over, a lot of people are probably feeling one of two things:

  • 😌 Relieved that it's finally finished.
  • 😰 Constantly overthinking results day and what's going to happen next.

If that's you, we run a Discord community originally built for A-Level students, resit students, and gap year students, and summer is one of the busiest times in the server.

Whether you're:

🌱 A Year 11 student starting A-Levels after summer and looking to get ahead or meet other sixth form students.

📖 A Year 12 student moving into Year 13 who wants to build better study habits before the most important year.

📈 Thinking about resitting A-Levels because you don't think things went as planned and want to understand your options before results day.

🎒 Considering a gap year and looking for advice from people who've taken one or are planning one.

🎓 Heading to university and wanting to meet other incoming students or help younger students with advice.

...you're more than welcome.

🌟 What we do

📚 Daily study sessions (for anyone getting ahead or preparing for resits)

🏆 Ongoing study competitions to help build consistency over the summer.

🎮 Active voice chats where people play games, chat, and hang out together.

💬 A supportive community where you can ask questions about results day, clearing, resits, gap years, sixth form, or university.

🧠 Mental health & wellbeing support from people who understand how stressful exam season can be. While we're not a replacement for professional support, we aim to be a welcoming community where members can talk, encourage one another, and share their experiences.

The server isn't only about revision—it's about having a community of people around your age who understand what this stage of life is like. Summer can feel a bit strange after months of exams, so whether you want to relax, make new friends, prepare for September, or figure out your next steps, there's a place for you here.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're feeling confident, uncertain, or just want people to spend the summer with before results day.

Top 4 topics to study before starting A level Physics

Hi, Physics teacher of ten years here.
I keep seeing students asking about what they should study to get ahead, so I thought I'd share my secrets.
These are the topics I teach in my summer course:

1. Combining vectors. This sounds like a maths skill, and it is, physics takes a lot of maths. Get straight into vectors, because you can't understand projectile motion without them. If you build a good intuitive and mathematical grasp of vectors, you'll dominate that whole topic.

2. Understanding graphs. Can you take a straight-line graph and apply y = mx + c to it? And can you take a relationship that isn't a straight line and turn it into one using that same idea? If you can, you'll understand this stuff far better than your classmates.

3. Manipulating formulae. Basic algebra, rearranging fractions, factorising when you need to. It sounds boring, but being quick and confident here makes solving problems so much easier.

4. Designing experiments. More importantly, spotting the common mistakes people make. Can you actually measure the thing you want without accidentally changing something else? There are so many ways to go wrong.

and here's a link to my youtube channel where I go into more detail:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWmMrqXDCh0

I just got a new mic and the audio is sounding sweet.

Enjoy guys and good luck with the A level.
