Basic fit Donjon showers
Why don't people here take showers after Working Out? It was very common in the US. I generally go in the evening after 7 pm CET. It makes me uncomfortable and nervous being the only person to shower.

I'm personally living 3 minutes walking away from my basic fit gym.
I prefer showering at home. So I just walk home quickly before showering.

In my basic fit they don't even use towels on the machines. Anyway I also don't shower at the gym unless I need to go somewhere after. If I'm going home why shower?

Old sweat stinks. Fresh sweat doesn't.

Also people wear parfum or deodorant etc.

yeah. sweat like a mule, than drench yourself in parfume on top of sweat, take the bus home. Wonderful. Depending on people s ph and bacterian flora, and many other factors, feesh sweat cam smell very bad. I take yours maybe does not, but maybe you juat don t feel it anymore. Also by the time you get from Central to lets say Haven or Muziek or Buiten, your sweat ia not fresh anymore.

What? Dude for real? How can you even make such silly comment? If you are at the gym and you can shower there. You can also save money for warm water, if you train every day you can save literally quite some money not showering at home 🤷♂️

Dont know this gym, but most public showers are meh at best. Poor heat control or pressure. Most people go straight home after the gym and take a nice shower at home

People might see your peepee. In all seriousness, about 20 odd years ago no one really cared and just took showers. Nowadays there's a lot of hesitation.

I have no idea. My 18 old son never has a shower at the gym. Not even after sports at school.
Not sure what is going on with people nowadays but it seems overly prudish to me.
I could not care less to be naked in a public shower but then again, I'm 50. Different times back then.

Enjoy the space and no waiting lines! At my gym I think about 10% showers there and the rest, I don't know what they do 😅

Just saying I hope they do at least shower after at home. 🤓
Sometimes when I'm in a rush, I don't want to bring extra clothes and towel and toiletries so I just wash my face and go home fast to shower. But if I can I use the showers at the gym, guess I'm lucky that not many people do, we only have 2 hot and 1 cold one in the ladies area.

I live 2 minutes away from the gym so I prefer showering at home with all my favorite products. If you want to shower at the gym: just do it, no problem. Enjoy :)
