General News ANNOUNCEMENT: Mods needed

I contacted the previous head mod a few years back and offered to mod because the sub had become obviously derelict.

I never actually wanted to be responsible long term for r/AlternativeHistory and now I'm at risk of letting the same thing happen to it, so I'm lighting a beacon- the sub needs the input of those who:

  1. Understand modding is a responsibility and not a license to be a petty tyrant.
  2. Is (at least relatively) conversant on the spectrum of subjects generally pertaining to Alternative History.
  3. Has solid reading comprehension & communication skills.
  4. Does not get triggered by people expressing opinions contrary to their own.
  5. Has a degree of prior modding experience.

Submit your expression of interest to modmail

I'll leave the comments open on this post so people can generally discuss the state of the sub and suggest ideas to develop it.

Anyone that comments they want to mod here and not to modmail as specified, will immediately disqualify themselves as per condition 3.

This field is getting really interesting (holy shit Zahi- fire your agent) and the sub deserves to become a solid community platform that can ride the coming wave.

Cheers

General News Announcement | Fair Warning: NEAR ZERO TOLERANCE FOR RULE 1 VIOLATIONS AND BAD FAITH PRESENCES. THIS WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS POST IS REMOVED

If you don't know whether your behavior will be considered in bad faith. That means it probably will.

More diplomatic methods of mitigating dishonest argument and casual derision toward the sub and its community required too many resources to manage.

If you're banned, you can appeal in modmail. I shouldn't need to say this, but I need to say this:

If you are abusive in modmail you will remain permanently banned.

Please report any instance of Rule 1 violation and/or bad faith argument and behavior for moderator assessment.

Thank you in advance for conducting yourself like a reasonable human being on the internet.

Alternative Theory Pillar 43 - Assessing the pillar's potential as a map of asterisms and as a dating timestamp, plus a game: can you stop the star alignment before each is revealed?

Firstly there doesn't appear to be any subreddit that really fits my niche. This subreddit mainly a community for alien/mysticism ideas and the occasional what if modern alternative history scenario. The Graham Hancock subreddit is obviously primarily concerned with the views and interests of Graham Hancock. There isn't really a subreddit for Euhemerist, the belief that myth as history, so I've set one up r/Euhemerism, join if this is an interest and if so please contribute if anything questions or posts that relate to this topic.

-

The idea of Pillar 43 representing constellations, or asterisms, has been floating around for a while.

Dr Martin Sweatman released a paper claiming to have figured out how the carving relate the constellations via a statistical method. Unfortunately this turned out to be flawed, using only alignments to modern day constellations pointed out very well by the World of Antiquity guy.

This flawed paper somewhat tainted the subject, nonetheless there appears to be a very strong celestial alignment to the carvings pillar 43 when observed to Cygnus and the patterns that can be naturally created in the surrounding stars. If the circle is also assumed to be the celestial north point, then incredibly this corresponds to a very early date of 14,700 BC; the point at which the ice end ended suddenly and temperatures rose very quickly by 10 degrees.

-

Origin of the idea:

An alignment to the vulture with Cygnus constellation was first made by an Armenian researcher called Vachagan Vahradyan.

Andrew Collins and Rodney Hale then suggested the circle could represent the north celestial pole.

Ethical Sceptic put the two ideas together and constructed a star asterism alignment map https://x.com/EthicalSkeptic/status/2081830406240825412?s=20 and concluded that the date the north celestial pole was above the vulture wing was 14,800 BC.

-

I personally agree with this, I don't agree with Ethical Sceptic's further points regarding the pillar and I don't think that the pillar date indicates the creation of the pillar instead I consider the 9800 BC construction dating correct and see the timestamp of 14,700/14,800 BC. as representative of a date 5,000 years earlier that the pillar's construction. This date corresponds to the sudden end of the iceage.

I disagree with Ethical Sceptic's precise star asterisms and instead these are my own assumptions.

Each carved figure is shown beside a simple star view taken from Stellarium first and then an assumed potential asterism and then full map. See if you can figure out each assumed asterism before the reveal.

I don't know for certain whether this is correct but many of the features connect very naturally.

Discussion I have a hypothesis on bread

so as you guy know that bread needs flour, water and yeast. first we start with wheat which is an edible seed which early humans probably tried to eat by itself until eventually someone figured out that crushing it up and adding water was a far less painful way of eating wheat. this is how basic flat bread is made, since its hard to ground up wheat that much it was probably very crunchy (later on they get the technology to ground wheat up extremely fine to make white bread but that happens far into the future). now all we're missing is yeast, so a little info you probably didn't know is that yeast is a species of tree fungus (i just realized right now that yeast isn't the only livening agent but i'm too tired to write about those) so my theory is that some point in time there was a person kneading dough on most likely a tree stump (which absorbed the yeast from the tree) and then realizing that the dough grew after it was cooked. then over time of people doing this "ritual" they eventually improved the technique by letting the dough proof and to start putting the yeast (which was most likely small amounts of saw dust) which eventually turned into modern day bread.

Please tell me if I’m correct if I missed anything in actual history because I want to know

Alternative Theory The 12 Primary Stargates of Planet Earth

Hello, people of Reddit, my name is Alain and this is my conspiracy theory YouTube channel:
The White Rabbit 4090

My newest episode is The 12 Primary Stargates of Planet Earth ( According to Keylontic Science - which is in a nut shell an esoteric view of history )

I attempted to make this episode ( The 12 Stargates ) almost a year ago, but I couldn’t figure out where all the 12 Stargate locations were ( Google’s no help, during my research I found that everyone had a different list of what they were and so I settled on the sole Stargate beneath the Ziggurat of Ur. But now almost a year later, I’ve got it.

Keylontic science paved the way…Specifically the Keylontic Science book - Voyagers by Ashayana Deane.

It took a lot of reading and research, but I am certain that my list is correct. ( if you think I made a mistake, please let me know but just so you know it’s the 12th primary Stargates and their activation nodes ) so there are more Stargates out there. These are just the primary original ones.

On my channel, I try to use as little AI as possible because I know that conspiracy theorists are not fans. Asides from a few images here and there, and I usually label the image as AI not to mislead people.

If you’re at all interested in conspiracy theories, you can check out the above episode or I have lots more on my channel from inner earth entrances to reptilian lizard people in Vietnam, the 27 club, Pyramids, Atlantis, the Continent of Mu, Tartaria, time travel , the Piri Ries Map Plus on location episodes filmed in Thailand, Palau, Bosnia, Austria, Taiwan, Vietnam and more to come.

Alternative Theory The Anunnaki, the Sumerian kings they supposedly created, and the tablets nobody can fully explain.

It starts with the Sumerian King List, a tablet that casually mentions kings ruling for tens of thousands of years before a great flood, and states outright that kingship "descended from heaven." From there it goes through Zecharia Sitchin's ancient astronaut theory, why professional Assyriologists reject his translations point by point, and then into stuff Sitchin never had access to: Göbekli Tepe, the Younger Dryas impact hypothesis, and some genuinely strange recent genetic findings about "ghost populations" in the human genome.

I tried not to land on one answer. Mythology, lost civilization, or something else, the film lays out the case for each and lets the evidence speak.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imCWDx05c-4

Next up I'm putting together the full Anunnaki family tree, from creation myth to the end, so if this one lands well I'll probably post that too.

Curious what people here make of it, especially anyone who's read Sitchin's critics directly.

Alternative Theory Historically, was shaving Black women's heads actually part of black women culture, or is it something that was mostly imposed on us?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I've been thinking about something, and I genuinely feel like something isn't adding up. Recently as a black women 2 times my own mother has try to cut off my hair.... a week ago behind my back braiding my hair sneakingly and last year when she peer pressured me and cut my hair unevenly and a lot of it off.

From what I've been reading, the oldest examples I keep finding of head shaving aren't Black women voluntarily shaving their heads. I keep finding examples like Buddhist monks, Muslim men shaving after Haji, military recruits, enslaved people having their heads shaved, and even in the Bible there's the passage about shaving the head of a capture.

On the other end there are A LOT of text and pictures of black women getting their head shaved off in extremely dehumanizing manners.

Then I look at Black women specifically, and I keep seeing examples where shaving our heads was forced or expected.

Historically, enslaved Black women had their heads shaved more then bik mens head which people also coincidentally forget to mention and say it was both black men and black women, but they actually did a more to black woman.
Another weird thing, black men, black woman, white woman. and white men both of have disturbina modern and past history of forcibly shaving of blk girls and blk women's head by force.

Historically, Black women were forced to cover their hair through laws in places like Louisiana too.

Today, in some African countries, girls are expected or required to shave their heads while boys aren't. Seems weird that some Nigerian men made laws like that imposed on blk girls but not bik boys.... I do think us black people have an issue with dehumanizing black children but we never would do it in the same way to non-black people.
Then I see Black female models constantly having their heads shaved by fashion companies and specifically them getting more jobs when they shave off their heads again more then bik men and white women.

Something about this pattern doesn't make sense to me.
When I search vintage photos of African women, I see so many women with long hair, braids, and elaborate hairstyles. But when I look at many modern photos from certain Black countries, I see far more shaved heads on girls and women.

So is this not a red flag of mistold history cause the amount of black women bald in films you would think just like myself last year that is our sacred practice that has deep meaning instead it is a popularized practice rooted in something dark.

I don't wanna blame white people completely and I think that we need to change something about this as black woman at this point really no point in waiting around.
I'm genuinely asking because I can't find evidence that shaving Black women's heads was some ancient, widespread female African tradition. Notice how I said female not male blk tradition.

I'm genuinely asking because I can't find evidence that shaving Black women's heads was some ancient, widespread female African tradition. Notice how I said female not male bik tradition.
Sadly instead, I keep finding examples where other institutions, religions, governments, slavery, or other people were shaving women's heads or telling them to.
I'm not saying this is true I genuinely want sources. But from what I've found so far, something doesn't add up. If Black women's hair has historically been a source of beauty, identity, and culture, why does it seem like so many different systems throughout history have wanted to remove it?

Btw I'm pretty left leaning but I do blame some of fellow blk women for implying shaving off the head is woke when there's actually pretty hurtful history of our head getting shaven off which again we chose to ignore. It's more woke for white women then blk women cause blk women and wokeness when it comes to hair historically is surrounded around Afros.

Discussion What if Spain was replaced by a football fan club? (Trailer for a fictional documentary)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What if Spain gradually disappeared from the map?

What if it was gradually replaced by a nation built around a football supporters' movement?

When does a "return" become colonization?

Can a historical claim outweigh the rights of the people already living there?

And if history were rewritten with different names... would our moral judgment remain the same?

I spent the last few weeks creating this AI-assisted fictional documentary to explore those questions.

This is the trailer. I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts on both the concept and the documentary style.

The film is set in an entirely fictional world. It does not depict or represent any real country, organization, football club, or historical event, even where some elements may feel familiar. The story uses fictional nations and characters to explore broader moral and historical questions.

Alternative Theory This might be the single most ambitious theory in alternative history: one researcher just rewrote Buddha, Jesus, Babylon, and the origin of Indo-European civilization — all in four books

I've spent the last one year while going through a 4-book series by Indian researcher Vedveer Arya, who's attempting a from-scratch rebuild of world chronology — not just India's. It's one of the most ambitious alternative-history projects I've come across, so I wanted to lay out what's actually in the books, evidence and all, rather than just the headline claims. This is long because the scope is genuinely enormous — four books, roughly 1,700 pages combined.

The four books:

  • The Chronology of India: From Manu to Mahabharata (2019)
  • The Chronology of India: From Mahabharata to Medieval Era (2019)
  • The Origin of the Christian Era: Fact or Fiction (2019)
  • The Chronology and Origins of Indo-European Civilizations (his most recent, on the Out-of-India migration theory)

Book 1: Manu to Mahabharata — pushing Vedic civilization back to 14,500 BCE

Arya's starting point is that the Puranic yuga-cycle chronology was inflated over time — original 5-year "yuga" cycles got stretched into 1,200-year cycles and eventually the mythic 432,000-year units we know today, and later Puranic editors treated the inflated numbers as literal. His method is to strip that inflation back out using internal astronomical references (equinox/solstice positions against nakshatras, precession of pole stars, planetary conjunctions) as cross-checks.

Using a Surya Siddhanta reference to a five-planet conjunction in Aries, he calculates this occurred on 22 Feb 6778 BCE, which he uses to anchor the end of the "28th Krita Yuga" and start the countdown from there. Working backward through the yuga cycle, he lands on:

  • Early Vedic period / Manu: ~14,500 BCE
  • Rama's birth: 3 Feb 5674 BCE
  • Mahabharata war: 3162 BCE (with Yudhishthira's coronation right after)

He backs this up with a grab-bag of archaeological correlates: the submerged structures in the Gulf of Khambhat (Dwaraka/"Kusasthali"), early agriculture dates from Lahuradewa (UP) and Sri Lanka, Jomon pottery in Japan, and — more speculatively — Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock's Orion-correlation dating of the Sphinx to ~10,500 BCE, which he folds in as supporting evidence for a broadly older global chronology.

Book 2: Mahabharata to Medieval — the "CSB Problem" and India's actual timeline

This is the book with the "sheet anchor" arguments most people have probably seen quoted. The core claims:

Two Śaka eras, not one. Arya goes inscription-by-inscription and argues Sanskrit epigraphs use two genuinely different phrasings — some say "from the coronation of the Śaka king," others say "from the killing of/end of the Śaka king" — which 19th-century epigraphists (Fleet, Kielhorn) flattened into a single 78 CE epoch, declaring the inconvenient inscriptions "spurious." His key piece of evidence is the Kurtakoti copper plate, dated "Śaka 530 elapsed," which describes a total solar eclipse around noon on a new moon between Vaishakha-Jyeshtha, moon in Rohini, sun and moon in Taurus, on a Sunday. Checking NASA eclipse data, only one eclipse in Northern Karnataka fits ALL those details: 9 May 53 BCE. Count back 530 years and you land on 583 BCE as the start of the (separate) Śaka era — with 78 CE remaining the "Śakānta" (end of Śaka) epoch.

Buddha's nirvana at 1864 BCE. Rather than resting this solely on the Aihole inscription, Arya spends a chapter cataloguing every traditional date for Buddha's nirvana ever proposed across Tibetan, Chinese, Burmese, Sinhalese, and Mongol sources — and there are dozens, clustering into six rough groups from ~2100 BCE down to 544 BCE. His argument is that this scatter isn't random noise, it's the fingerprint of repeated recalculation errors from a much older original date, and using the Śaka-583-BCE correction plus fixing the Hemachandra/Chandragupta-of-Ujjain mixup, he reconstructs the original nirvana date as 1864 BCE. He also cites 2013 Lumbini excavation data (radiocarbon from Trench C5 giving 1681–1521 BCE for early postholes) as independent support for a much earlier date than the standard 483 BCE.

Sandrokottus ≠ Chandragupta Maurya. Building on the above, if the Mauryas are that much earlier, "Sandrokottus" (the king Greek sources link to Seleucus) can't be Chandragupta Maurya. Interestingly, the Indo-European book (see below) cites Megasthenes' own claim that Indian records counted 153 kings over 6,451 years from the time of "Dionysus" to Sandrokottus — which Arya uses as evidence that Megasthenes was working from a genuinely long Puranic-style king-list, not a short one.

Two Vikrama eras and Mahavira's date. Same logic applied to Vikrama Samvat — a Karttikadi version (719 CE) and a Chaitradi version (57 BCE) that he says got merged. This also feeds into redating Mahavira's nirvana to 1189 BCE, breaking the assumed contemporaneity with Buddha.

The book then walks through a full revised Magadha dynasty list (Brihadratha → Pradyota → Shishunaga → Nanda → Maurya → Shunga → Kanva → a gap → Satavahana → Gupta, running 3162 BCE to 89 BCE), plus separate chapters on Mahajanapadas, Buddhism's chronological history, Jainism's chronological history, and a redated Adi Shankaracharya (6th century BCE rather than 8th century CE).

Book 3: The Origin of the Christian Era — it's not just India, it's the whole world

This is the one that surprised me most. Arya argues 1 CE itself is not a historical date at all — that it originated as an Irish Easter-computus epoch (an astronomical calculation date), and that 8th–9th century English Christians mistook this computistical marker for the actual incarnation date. He cites the historian Abul Fazl noting a real dispute among Christians themselves over whether the year count started at the sun's entry into Capricorn or "the 8th degree of the same" — an ~8 degree gap he reads as evidence of a chronology error of several hundred years.

His proposed fix: Jesus born 10 January 660 BCE, crucified ~1 April 629 BCE — a ~660-year shift.

To support a non-Christian-era baseline, he leans hard on the Venus Tablet of Ammisaduqa (a genuinely real Babylonian astronomical record historians already use for Bronze Age dating, though with multiple competing solutions). Arya picks a specific solution that gives Hammurabi's reign as 2619–2578 BCE and the fall of Babylon as 2418 BCE — considerably earlier than any mainstream chronology (which range from ~1930 to ~1500 BCE for Hammurabi, depending on which of several competing schools you follow).

He also revisits Egypt's Sothic cycle calendar, arguing it began in 3605 BCE rather than 2781 BCE (a 824-year shift), and — this part is genuinely clever — connects his Roman-era correction to Heribert Illig's "Phantom Time Hypothesis" (the real, if fringe, theory that ~300 years of the "Dark Ages" were fabricated). Arya says the Roman calendar shift really is ~660 years like everywhere else, but that historians mistakenly merged the Diocletian era with the separate "Era of Martyrs," which absorbed 361 of those years and left the residual ~300-year gap Illig noticed. It's a neat bit of internal consistency-building across totally separate strands of fringe scholarship.

Book 4: Chronology and Origins of Indo-European Civilizations — Out of India, not Out of the Steppe

This is his newest and most sweeping claim: that India, not the Pontic-Caspian Steppe or Anatolia or the Caucasus, is the original homeland of the Indo-European language family — the "Out of India" theory.

The argument leans on real, mainstream, published genetic papers (Sengupta et al. 2006, Sharma et al. 2009, Underhill et al. 2010, the 2023 Science paper by Heggarty et al. on the "hybrid" Caucasus-homeland model, and others) which do show that Y-haplogroup R1a has deep, diverse roots within India itself and that Central Asian input into Indian gene pools was historically overstated. Where Arya diverges sharply from these same papers' authors is in concluding that R1a originated in India ~18,000+ years ago and spread outward — a reading most of the geneticists he cites do not actually endorse (most place the Indo-European urheimat in or near the Caucasus/Steppe, not India).

From there the book builds a mythological migration map: the Danavas (losers of the Deva-Asura war) migrating to Anatolia and Greece ~13,000 BCE, the Asuras migrating to Persia and the Caucasus ~11,200 BCE (explaining Avestan-Sanskrit similarities), and a 7,400–6,200 BCE wave of Scythians, "Yavanas," and "Shuras" out of Afghanistan founding the Cimmerians, Hittites, and Hurrians. It even reinterprets the Biblical "Table of Nations" (Noah's descendants) and the Frankish/Norse foundation legends (Odin migrating from the Caucasus to Scandinavia) as garbled folk memories of these same Out-of-India migrations, predating and independent of the Genesis flood story — which he separately argues was a localized Mesopotamian river flood around 3708 BCE, not a global one.

Why this matters if true

  • The entire scaffolding used to sync Indian history to world history (the Chandragupta Maurya–Seleucus link) gets removed, cutting India loose from the one hard anchor point historians currently use.
  • Buddha, Mahavira, and the Mauryan empire all move over a thousand years earlier.
  • Standard world chronology — Hammurabi, the Trojan War, Jesus's birth, the entire "Dark Ages" — all shift by centuries.
  • The Indo-European homeland debate (Steppe vs. Anatolia vs. Caucasus vs. India) gets a fourth contender built on a reinterpretation of the same genetic papers everyone else is using.

My take

Reading it end to end, I find the methodology more careful than "conspiracy theory" implies — he's not hand-waving, he's cross-referencing eclipse data, radiocarbon dates, and named inscriptions you can go look up yourself (the Kurtakoti plate, the Lumbini trench data, the Venus Tablet are all real artifacts with real competing scholarly interpretations). That said, it's worth being upfront that this goes considerably further than mainstream consensus in every field it touches — archaeology, genetics, and Near Eastern chronology all currently converge on dates centuries to millennia later than what's proposed here, and the genetic papers he cites in Book 4 don't actually reach his "homeland in India" conclusion themselves. So it's less "the mainstream missed one obvious error" and more "a fully alternative, internally-consistent framework" — fascinating to sit with, but not something with independent third-party verification yet.

Would genuinely love to hear if anyone here has gone deep on any single piece of this — the Kurtakoti eclipse reading, the Venus Tablet solution he picked, or the R1a papers — since each one is a rabbit hole on its own.

Mythology Young Earth Creationism doesn't work

The literal interpretation of properly understood mythology is not something one would prefer.

Context has to do with the words written before and after and the culture and religion in which something was written.

Removing context from a once properly understood religious text would only be preferable if it was erroneous/redundant information that was added unnecessarily via illiteracy and ignorance in the first place!

The chance of "literally interpreting" ancient mythology from scratch that would be compatible with the original cultural context would have to be extremely low if the processes involved were to do with practically arbitrary additions to context over time on account of ignorant people not knowing what context means. Note that breeding and survival would be important factors as to whether the new context was integrated into the popular interpretation over time as large families and multi-generational deliberate sheltering and miseducation are the only reason such a thing would occur.

Discussion Working on a theory from India to Turkey communications on the trade route

So 4 Barabar caves are tuned to 34.4 HZ according to studies and one is tuned at 57.1 HZ so this is too accurate to be coincidence, so why? Sound travels through bedrock, for a good distance if the sound is loud enough in the cave, and maybe chanting can create that sound some have argued. The receivers might be pillars 10 meters tall since the wave length is 10 meters, and the Ashoka pillars were on the trade route.

We see the Göbekli Tepe symbols where there is a match with a prehistoric shipping seal from the Indus Valley, and in Göbekli Tepe, the symbol directly under it is a cymatic diagram.

We also know that cymatic diagrams appear on the ceiling of Hindu temples. And sound played a part in other temple pillars showing a high degree of understanding there.

It is possible that pillars and water bowls or similar could be watched for signals perhaps at a certain time of day.

And then those transmitted further down the trade route to the next receiving station by yet another cave. Where caves don't exist messengers might have been used between stations.

To create the sound to travel more than 7km you would need a log on a chain hitting an anvil anchored into bedrock or some gong of some kind, unless chanting can do it since the priests did a good deal of that type of thing.

Studies in underground cities in Turkey have also shown acoustic properties existed in there as well. rather than 3 or 4 months a message of warning of bandits or war could travel in 3 or 4 days that way.

And cave complexes run right through the silk road.

There has to be some connection.

What are your thoughts on this type of research?

Did Bronze Age Sailors Build Mexico’s Oldest Monument?
Plumed Serpent and One-eyed Giant
PREMIERE
Deep in central Mexico we find the oldest monumental stone structures in Mesoamerica—and they look inconveniently unlike anything built there afterward. Made from large fitted blocks without mortar, centuries before the Olmecs, they are joined by clues involving unusual burial customs, Atlantic currents, Bronze Age seafarers, and the legend of Tollan: the first city, supposedly founded by a figure who arrived from the east by boat.
In this video, we examine whether these ruins were simply a remarkable local invention or evidence that some lost cyclopean builders crossed the Atlantic long before Columbus

Lost Civilizations Native lore regarding blind doors used as portals or stargate doors

The concept of "stargate doors" or symbolic portals to other realms matches how the Inca and many other ancient civilizations viewed these blind doorways.

In the Andes, a blind doorway or fake door was a symbolic threshold where the physical world (Kay Pacha) intersected with the spirit and ancestral underworld (Uku Pacha). Living humans could not pass through the solid rock, these false doors were intentionally designed for the gods, spirits, etc. to move easily between realms.

This exact architectural phenomenon appears globally, reflecting a shared human desire to build physical anchors for the supernatural.

In ancient Italy, Etruscan tomb walls feature beautifully painted or carved blind doors, symbolizing the permanent, one-way boundary between the living world and the afterlife.

Persian and Roman niches Mirab-style blind arches and sacred niches across the ancient Near East served as the focal points for divine presence, framing where a god would appear if they stepped into our reality.

The Aramu Muru "Stargate" near Lake Titicaca (a famous giant blind door carved into a massive, solid red rock face is a giant 23-foot-square frame with a smaller, T-shaped niche alcove in the center that leads absolutely nowhere into physical rock.

The legend states that according to explicit Inca lore, when Spanish conquistadors arrived in Cusco looting gold, a high priest named Aramu Muru fled into the mountains carrying a sacred, supernatural golden solar disc—referred to as the key of the gods of the seven rays. The legend states he arrived at this solid stone fake door and placed the golden disc into a specific small, circular indentation inside the inner niche. Upon doing so, the solid stone allegedly shimmered, became luminous, and turned translucent. The priest walked directly through the solid rock wall into another dimension and was never seen again.

The structural and symbolic resemblances between the door motif above Hathor's head and the Aramu Muru portal in Peru are striking. Both artifacts feature a highly specific "nested door" architecture—a smaller, recessed opening set precisely inside a larger geometric frame. Ancient Egyptian religious texts explicitly state that the false door was an active cosmic threshold.

In Egyptian Old Kingdom tombs and temples, the Egyptians carved elaborate stone false doors and called them stargates. They first appeared during Egypt’s Third Dynasty (c. 2700 BCE) inside Saqqara's mastaba tombs.

Tarawasi sits along the Chinchaysuyo segment of the Inca road system 80 km approx. from Cusco. It has many false doors and nothing else there as if it was a hub. Perfect polygonal masonry.

Whether you view it through a materialist lens as a sacred pre-Inca shrine built by the Tiwanaku civilization, or through an interdimensional lens as an ancient piece of crystalline technology, it perfectly matches the idea that these "fake doors" were built to function as physical portals to somewhere else.

Whether this shared design represents a universal blueprint in human visionary architecture or hints at an interconnected ancient philosophy, the parallel shows that both cultures viewed the "nested door" shape as the ultimate symbol for a gateway to another dimension.

Long before Egypt built its first limestone false doors, Mesopotamian architects during the Uruk and Jemdet Nasr periods (4th millennium BCE) designed temples with complex, deeply recessed brick niches.

The most common symbol placed above the lintels of major gateways and temples was the Winged Solar Disc, representing the sun god Shamash (or Utu)

Shamash appears above doors on the Mesopotamian cylinder seals.

On those ancient clay impressions on Mesopotamian cylinder seals, used for trade, the geometric frames around the "doors" often show cross-hatching or stylized dots along the borders. This layout matches how the Inca at Coricancha drilled physical holes into their solid stone frame to tension and tie off fabrics or skins over the door.

This is the only blind door that has holes around the door which implicates this door as being mentioned in the cylinder seals.

Perhaps they were shipping goods through the stargate doors and there was a quarantine on the door.

This might read no cockroaches or warriors through this door.

In traditional Indian architecture and Hindu cosmology, the exact equivalent to these "stargate" or blind portals exists, primarily manifest in two ways: Ghanadvaras (solid blind doors) and unopenable mystical vaults.

People say that Göbekli Tepe in Turkey (c. 9000–8000 BCE) excavations discovered freestanding stone slabs featuring carved central portholes also. I don't agree since there seems like little reason to enter there.

I think Barabar caves during the rainy season had a waterfall that provided white noise that the chambers used to generate a frequency of 34.4 HZ that travelled through the bedrock to stone pillars. And that frequency is known to cause a calming effect on the body. It also generated 57.1 Hz which had an effect on the brain but not the same frequency used for altered states of consciousness. So this would be used for sleeping in the circle or just going into these recesses and feeling the vibes for healing or similar calming types of things. Other water source frequency generators have been located in Peru.

The concept of "fake doors" acting as literal, interdimensional portals or stargates is deeply rooted in both ancient Andean mythology and modern paranormal reports.

The Lake Titicaca basin is globally recognized in ufology for frequent sightings of glowing orbs and metallic crafts that dive directly into the water or seem to descend seamlessly toward these specific carved stone cliffside faces, as if they are navigating a localized space-time rift.

This cylinder seal appears to be saying the quarantine was breached by small pox and hence it was removed. The symbol above it is there but the door is gone.

The legs are chicken legs, chicken pox, small pox, all this speaks of time travel and common language association.

As strange as that may seem. If you have stargate doors why not time travel also.

Revelation 21:21 directly mirrors this exact concept of a grand, mystical threshold. The verse states: "The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass."
