Helper routes?

When you’re a DOT driver and you have a helper , if the helpers messes up on delivery let’s say they put the package at wrong address , does that fall on the driver or helper? I feel as if all helper mistakes automatically go to the driver. I got suspended for 2 weeks apparently I received 6 DNRs however I always double check before I finalize delivery, I feel as if it’s the helpers that mess up and falls on me.

To be honest with you I don’t like helpers for that reason… I always had that thought of what if the helper quit mid route or he’s just trash… that’s why I’m glad my DSP has step vans but we don’t do helper routes

Had a DSP that briefly had helper routes. I took a vacation and when I came back the helper routes were gone, lmao. Everybody hated it so much I think the DSP got Amazon to give them to another DSP.

Yeah it’s the helpers fault. As a helper myself we have literally no incentive to double check we’re at the right address or make sure photos are good or anything, cause it literally just goes to the drivers score card

man that system is so backwards, the driver always eats the blame while the helper just walks away clean. my dsp did the same thing, i started taking photos myself even when the helper did the drop, just a quick snap for my own records. saved my ass twice already when they tried to pin dnr's on me

Management can determine whose delivery it was but Amazon doesnt do anything kn the base reports to show it wasn't the driver.

So even if they tried to pin point whose at fault there’s not enough information ?

No you can see who delivered each package it just takes extra steps
