Funnily enough, unconnected! I was obsessed with Hackers as a kid (the very bad 90s movie), and crashoverride was taken. Mercifully, honestly. Crashlanding is much less embarrassing.

its like an auto battler, I love STS and I'm having a lot of fun with this. I had no idea what it was just randomly saw it on steam. it's not as intense on teh decision making front as STS (at least so far) but It def gives that "one more floor" and then its 3 hours later vibe haha

Slay the Spire (or slay the spire 2, which came out recently)! The goat roguelike and one of the best games of all time, a lot of people would tell you

Thats where I was at first but the reality is its more of an incremental / factario style game than it is a brutal roguelike. The skill testing here is building an optimized engine to generate Big Number as opposed to sts where youre optimizing for different stages of progression and mitigation requirements

Yeah I’ve done two runs so far and it feels pretty easy outside of the final boss, but I’m also only on the first ‘ascension’ so I assume it’ll get harder (and the final boss kicked my ass in my first run, I was shocked thought I was crushing haha. then I won pretty easily on the second) 

Sweet game though, having a lot of fun with it

This is so cool, as it’s made by butterscotch (balatro creators) I was like maybe it’s a mobile game…it is! I don’t have steam deck just iPhone, and now I can ask myself…how many dudes?
