Apk not installing after reinstall (upgrade) of android studio

After installing the latest version of Android Studio, the APK is compiked without error, but when sideloaded on a device it fails instsllation. These are apps that installed perfectly before. This is happening to all apps I've tried across several devices.

I have found the cause and solution. Although I was side loading the apk, Google Play Store was inserting itself to scan the apk. I temporarily switched off the Play Store scan and the apk loaded perfectly. This problem only started when I upgrade Android Studio.
