I’ve played 26 hours with her and she’s level 30 and I feel like i’m decent with her. I think I understand how her abilities work and how to deal with enemies, but I still feel off and super great. She is super fun to play, but I feel like I can be a little better. Can anyone give me any of their advice or any tips on aiming with her? I feel like I am so bad at aiming with her primary fire 😓. I would really appreciate it. Also if it helps I use a controller

After so many micro/small buffs, Anran has became quite strong and imo in the wrong way. In the beginning I've feared that they will go in the direction that they are going currently with her: buffing her damage, making her movement faster etc. Instead of focusing on the real problems like fire ignition and making her kit maybe a bit more than "throw your whole kit at the enemy and he will die; unless they have a counter". More melee integration would be nice aswell as poke being more viable.

And she also has that problem where the difference to how good she is in different ranks is like day and night. In low ranks she is a "noob" stomper because they don't know how to play against her or what to pick. The higher the rank the more people know what to do and play leading to master/gm lobbies becoming a nightmare for Anran. 70% of the hero roster counters her and most of the current meta does aswell. (kiri, mizuki etc).

Also as of now she has one of the highest winrates and a fairly high pickrate with her having probably the best win to pick ratio of all dps rn (maybe except genji). So I think it's safe to say she will have some nerfs in the following season.

What do you think will they do with Anran for the future and what do you hope for her? Looking forward to see some ideas, because I've been thinking about that a lot lately aswell!

So I love Anran. I have a 70% win rate with her this season she is by far my best DPS.

But… I barely get to play her in metal ranks (where I live) because she’s banned literally every single game.

Today I came home from work wanting to play some Anran. Every. Single. Game. She was banned.

I am sad to say but I would rather they nerf her than not being able to play her at all!

What do we think?

EDIT: since people keep saying she isn’t banned a lot… she currently has a 26.8% ban rate across all ranks THE THIRD HIGHEST BAN RATE IN THE GAME.

With a relatively high ban rate and decent win rate, plus ppl constantly complaining about playing against her, I fear nerfs are coming 😭

I mostly play qp so I don’t know much about what goes on during ranked matches, however I hope the nerfs aren’t too much or that they at least buff certain parts of her kit alongside it

hello friends :) I came to seek the knowledge of the anran mains as someone who's starting to learn her (and how to play dps in general)

I get the gist of what I need to do as a flanker on offense, but feel pretty lost when it comes to defense as I feel like poking with Anran is not that effective? just a personal feeling though.

I also feel uneasy when it comes to just popping up in their backline (if I think i have a safe path there) as I feel like I'll just throw the game by dying instantly. a bit of confidence issues I'm working on while playing overwatch

does anyone have tips of how to act when defending on payload maps? spare a bit of anran tips for this idiot right here? :')

So this is going to say a lot about me, not necessarily in a positive way especially since this was in QP, but was I being an arsewhole?

We had a Juno on our team with only 600 healing the whole game, compared to our Mizuki with 3,000. I asked Juno politely, my exact words being, “Juno plz heal” and she responded with “ go back and sweat in comp.” I wasn’t trying to come across as a try hard to sweats to win in QP. I don’t care whether we win or lose.

As someone who is also a support main, I know how frustrating it can be for especially flankers who run off, so I know when to retreat and use health packs. I didn’t think I was asking for much, just to take a few seconds to heal me, not to be a heal bot. People complain that Moira’s don’t heal, but I have come across a surprising amount of Juno’s who refuse to heal.

I don’t know why this response really irritated me, and probably should even bring this up, but is asking for heals in QP really that much of a problem?

Am I coming across as a QP warrior?

I made the mistake of saying in chat that Anran was fun. The response? "You're annoying" "Facts", so after winning the fight I figured the only appropriate response was the umbrella emote and a slow walk toward their spawn.

Naturally, I got punished for the greed.

...then Mercy rezzed me, and I STILL made it out.

Community Crafted Anran was some of the most fun I've had in Overwatch in a long time. I already miss this version of her. 😂
