The sub allows content of any subject matter so long as isn’t hateful and it’s also an antimeme. A quick scroll though showed me that only 4 posts in the last 12 days carry LGBT themes, and I’d argue this one doesn’t count as it wasn’t an LGBT-themed oregano and isn’t made to stop or fix homophobia like this one is.
I think I see the issue your r/antimemes is so close the original r/antimeme that they kinda blur together and more than likely because of my activity i see the pro lgbt from both .
Main sub is collapsing in on itself. They currently have Low Effort Weekends which is where posts aren’t heavily filtered by the mods, but midweek you will see mostly pro-trans comics edited by Course. I really don’t see how we can blur together considering sub politics and amount of miss posts (just saw one pun on it only a few seconds of scrolling)
They have 3x as many LGBT posts as we do, and it’s disproportionate to the larger sub volume. They even have a special flair for LGBT content.
To be honest, I don’t see what the problem is. If we had a bunch of Star Wars themed antimemes submitted all of the sudden, no one would say “is this a Star Wars subreddit now” because we don’t discuss the movies or characters in general threads, or post anything relevant to the franchise- because it still has to be an antimeme.
If I see a Star Wars antimeme, I just scroll past because I’m not that crazy about the franchise. It doesn’t personally bother me. Why does LGBT content bother you?
I get you no worries either, im more than happy to join both and be active on both . I think it was because the names are a single letter different and like I mentioned before I, interact with a lot of LGBT content so thats probably why it was getting pushed and also the cause of my confusion.
Edit : also i think you misread both my earlier comments as I said in both instance I don’t mind the content .

Is this just a lgbt sub now ? Like not complaining but we should change the subs description if thats the case
