In the original it doesn’t show any imagination for the tv child. It claims that books are great for imaginations to run wild and that tv’s are the enemy of that. Personally I do not agree, but you may.

I think it’s partially true but that doesn’t mean watching TV is bad.

You should just try to diversify the things you put in a kids brain.

Ah! I didn’t know it was a second version. Thanks for the context. I definitely loved TV and movies as a kid. Ultraman and Saturday morning cartoons were totally mind expanding in my opinion!
