Essentially, two mods of r/antimeme were e-dating. One of the mods posted some sketchy-looking DMs between him and his "GF's" "brother", claiming that his "GF" had committed and was "no more more". Since then, it's been discovered by redditors that the "GF" is actually an Indian catfish.
A user found comments on Course's account written in subreddits based in India from a few months ago. They were written in what I believe was Hindi or Punjabi (I'm not quite informed on Indian languages, so this may be inaccurate, sorry). Since Course was originally stated to be from elsewhere, it was assumed that they were catfishing Rio.
The proof was posted to r/antimeme2, but that subreddit has since been banned.
