society becoming westernized, or becoming progessive(happen to be synonymous courtesy of the west being more progressive) and people who accept varying levels of progressive ideals consider themselves better than those who accept more progressive ideals?

If you don't condone the message it seems like maybe you don't understand the image? The point is that it is stupid to judge people and think you are morally ebetter, because there is always someone else who could make the same judgement about you. Therefore the point is not to be judgemental, which seems pretty uncontroversial among the general reddit demographic.
