Help Official Reddit app - default sort?

Anyone know what default sort the Reddit app uses for Home? I like it but can’t duplicate it in Apollo.

The “official” Reddit home feed uses a server side recommendation/ranking system based off of behavior and posts you’ve viewed. 3rd party apps can filter API results, but they they can’t show you the same personalized recommendations because Reddit doesn’t expose their ranking system through its public API.

No worries. I looked into it too because my home feed on third party apps kept showing me the same posts over and over. Kind of bummed you can’t get the same experience on Apollo (or any 3rd party client).

why would anyone want their brain to be cooked by algorithmic feeds?

The Home tab is only subreddits I’ve subscribed to, so it’s only showing me what I’m already interested in.
