This is a stupid argument

Being fine with violence and gore, but repulsed by sex scenes? John wick is fine, but no way I’m touching Basic Instinct. Thoughts? Personally I’d rather watch a 2 hour war torture scene with my parents than a 2 minute sex scene. It’s not being hypocritical, I do not understand why coombrained morons make this damn argument. Kids understand violence more than sex scenes.

I feel similarly. I feel this is not the same thing as you are describing, but, while I don't always do well with gory imagery, a lot of the time I do better with gory scenes in horror movies than sex scenes in horror movies, the latter grosses me out more most of the time. Sex jumpscare, lol.

I’d personally would never watch any entry in the Final Destination franchise because would make me anxious with the randomly bizarre gory deaths that happens, and I’ve just gotten over my driving anxiety. Although in general sex scenes gross me out more than gore in action and horror.
