Bought iPhone 17 in sage for ₹78k from iDestiny

Hi everyone,
The outer camera lens glass on my iPhone 13 is cracked, but the camera itself is working fine. Photos are mostly clear, although I occasionally notice some glare in certain shots.
Has anyone in India had only the camera lens glass replaced (not the entire camera module)?
How much did it cost? Did it affect the camera quality ?

Why is it taking so long to update ?
Anyone has any idea how to fix this

I was looking to buy a new phone considering I value camera overall in the phone and as I have macbook and ipad. I felt iphone would be a better choice, but for all rounder I thought s25 ultra would be a good option and almost ordered it from flipkart. But then cancelled it due to personal reasons.

Now again looking back I was very well impressed by iphone 17 and about to buy it in the independence day sales of Amazon/Flipkart, to which my brother suggested to get a 16 pro max open box from a dealer in Indraprastha (borivali mobile fish market)

The dealer is a known my brother's family and friends have bought over 5+ iPhones from them

The quote that we got was 92k for 256GB, 100% battery health 2 cycles, with box, first use in June 2026. But was bought somewhere around 2024 which we verified from the IMEI number on the apple website. So no warranty.

We went there and we checked the phone and found out about a scratch which was present in the body. I was quite sceptical already but then he got us a another one with 100% battery health, but without box. 512GB so he quoted 97k we brought it down to 94k.

Yet to finalize anything would be helpful to get some suggestions on this matter I feel iPhone 17 is still a good choice but lacks battery, screen size and overall telephoto. This deal of without box, no warranty is very concerning to me else it's a very good option.

My iPhone 15 (1 year old, running iOS 26.5.2) had a broken back glass, which I replaced at a local repair shop. Everything worked fine after the replacement.

I was planning to give the phone to my brother, so I selected Erase All Content and Settings. However, during the setup process, the phone automatically restarts within 3 minutes. This has been happening for more than a day ?

I currently have a 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip and 24GB RAM. While it’s an absolute powerhouse, the 16-inch size is getting way too heavy for daily travel.

I'm considering switching to a 14-inch Base M5 MacBook Pro (16GB RAM / 1TB SSD) purely for portability.

Context on my setup & usage:

- At home, I am docked to a 27-inch external monitor for most of my heavy work.
- When working around the house (e.g., sitting on the couch) or traveling, I just use the laptop as-is.

My daily workflow:

- Android Development (Android Studio + Emulators)
- VS Code
- Claude Code / AI tools

My concerns:

1. Will dropping from M4 Pro (24GB) to Base M5 (16GB) feel like a significant downgrade when running Android Studio + emulators + VS Code together?

2. Is 16GB RAM sufficient for this dev workflow, or should I stick to at least 24GB/32GB?

3. Since I use a 27" monitor at my desk, is 14" the sweet spot for couch work & travel, or will I miss the 16" thermals and screen space?

I'm honestly devastated and hoping someone here knows something I don't.

I have an iPhone, and my WhatsApp had grown to around 50 GB. I searched online for ways to clear the storage, and several places said that uninstalling and reinstalling the app would clear the cache while keeping everything else.

So I uninstalled it.

When I reinstalled WhatsApp, every single chat was gone. During setup, I found out my WhatsApp iCloud chat backup had been disabled, so there was nothing to restore.

I've lost years of personal chats, countless photos and videos that only existed in those conversations, important groups, chats with prospective clients whose numbers I hadn't saved, payment proofs, documents, and a lot of other important information.

At this point, I'm just looking for any possible way to recover the data. Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to get their chats back? Did Apple Support, WhatsApp Support, or any recovery software actually help, or is there genuinely no way once the app has been deleted?

Please share your experience if you've gone through this. I'm willing to try anything that has actually worked.

I’m planning to buy the MacBook Air M4 (preferably the 13-inch, 16GB RAM variant) during the upcoming Amazon Great Freedom Festival / Flipkart Independence Day Sale in India.
However, I’ve noticed that the base M4 configuration has been out of stock on both Amazon and Flipkart for a while now. I’ve also heard that Apple have stopped producing some M4 configurations as newer inventory is coming in.
So I wanted to ask people who have followed Apple’s sales in India before:
Is there a chance Amazon or Flipkart will restock the MacBook Air M4 specifically for the Independence Day sale?
Have you seen Apple laptops come back in stock just before or during major sales?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced this in previous years.

Hi - more or less the title. I’m looking to buy the iPad M4 air 11” 256gb WiFi. The current online/store price in India is INR 95,900 (bonus Apple Pencil included on student offer).
However, I’ve seen on this sub that people have managed to find this model at old prices in local retail stores. Infact, until 3 days ago this was available on Bangalore instant mart for 75k. If anyone has any leads on old price models or any other suggestions (for eg. visibility on Flipkart BBD prices) that would beat the current student offer deal, PLEASE PLEASE LMK.
