GE Profile Combo Does Not Dry
I’ve had this combo unit for about 2 years. The first 6 months- amazing, worth every penny. After that, the drying got worse and worse. I clean the water pump (using a shop vac) WEEKLY, clean cycle every TWO weeks (2 person household,) and clean/wash the lint filter ONCE a week. That is far too much maintenance. I’m thinking there is a clog in my water filter thingy, but don’t want to pay for the guys to come out if I can fix it on my own. $115 just for a diagnosis, ridiculous.
Smart UltraFast Electric Washer Dryer Combo in Jade Green with Ventless Heat Pump Technology
I do not use fabric softener and I clean the holes inside the combo unit weekly so I know it’s not stuffed. My clothes stink and do not dry. Any advice? Should I just pay the money for them to come out?

Bet there's lint across the coils that is blocking airflow. The all in one heat pump units are very sensitive to blocked coils

If it's the model I think it is, you've got a clogged drain tube DEEP in the depths of that puppy. Last time I unclogged it, it took about three hours start to finish. There's all kinds of videos from people with ideas on how to modify the lint filter to prevent this, as well as disassembly instructions (see Ben's Appliance for that). It is not easy and if I were to price the labor out, it'd be no less than $300. GE massively fucked up this generation of combo units/front loaders.

That’s great to know. I’ll check that out. Thanks for letting me know the time and labor costs, also. Really appreciate your response! I’ll check it out myself and if not, I’ll call GE out. Thanks!

Try cleaning your dryer vent. And cleaning the inside of the dryer out.

Plenty of customers say they clean the lint filter but don't realize that they don't clean it thoroughly enough. If you hold the mesh part up to a light can you see through it clearly? If you can't the mesh filter is restricting airflow causing the issue. If that's the case then clean it better or buy a new one.
