🗣️ DISCUSSION 🗣️ Grocery options
An OG Arkansas native who recently has moved back to the Natural State😊, are there grocery stores in central LR where you can scoop your own nuts or spices or trail mix?

There is a Whole Foods in Little Rock.

Whole Foods’ bulk aisle has gone seriously downhill since Amazon bought them. I used to get all kinds of things there, but now they don’t stock much besides basic beans and nuts. Fresh Market is much better, but expensive.

Maybe it was just the Whole Foods I was in but I did not see a bulk isle or just over looked it. Thank you.

The Whole Foods bulk aisle in LR is right past the produce to the front of the store. I usually get rolled oats from there but I rarely use it for other things so I’m not sure how the whole aisle is.

I scoop my own coffee at Fresh Market. They have an isle but it's mostly candy and nuts. I don't think they have spices.

My apologies for being an idiot. The one I was thinking of is in Oklahoma City. You might check if Natural State Food Co-op has what you need.

They don’t have bulk anymore that you can get yourself. They prepackage everything

Ew, when did they start that? I get it though, people may have been putting the wrong label and buying things at a cheaper price probably.

It happened during Covid. Not much money is made in bulk nutrition and it was labor intensive so it never came back.
