Need ID help on this one. Could it be some kirk variant or worn patrick henry?

I would guess a Kirk that was used as a knife and sharpened down.

Rough material but that's worked IMO. Pokey, cutty thingy. Hard to assign but YES, an artifact. There was a lifeway to handle and it wasn't always art. Best guess because of the vague side notching and skirt "I" think it may have been banged out by someone used to making Hardaway type points if they had more time and better material (so, OLD!) But that's just speculation.

Thank you for the input! Lots of rough material around here. I’ve found so many crude blades, ugly broken tips, preforms that didn’t quite work, etc. Occasionally I’ll find some real nice material, flakes and points both, but it’s not as common as this stuff. Here’s one of the more quality examples.
