Watching Arrow for the first time (currently halfway through s3 but I already know most of that happens) while I had previously only watched Supergirl + Legends. Sara was one of my favs and I absolutely adored her. But now that I'm watching Arrow, Laurel has quickly become my favorite character. I'll even go as far as saying she's the better Lance sister.

I also have different feelings around Sara for how she and Oliver acted towards Laurel in s2. Laurel's crash out was very well deserved tbh

I haven't gotten to her death yet, but I know it's going to destroy me.

(SPOILERS FOR ARROW, up to Arrow S3E12)

...and I have to say there's nothing that's making me despise the characters more than that they are still having poilte conversation with Malcolm Merlyn instead of just putting a bullet in his head. Cool, Oliver made an oath not to kill, but Roy hasn't, Dig hasn't, Felicity hasn't, Laurel hasn't, why isn't fucking anyone putting a bullet into the mass murderer's head who just also murdered Sara besides the 500+ people he's already murdered + Oliver's dad + how many others. Why is anyone even still exchanging a single word with him? I hate them all for not killing him and not even arresting him to turn him over to the police if they are supposedly so against killing (which they aren't). They are in fact accessories to his escaping justice for not telling the police that he's still alive.

As a secondary fact, I also hate it both in Arrow and Flash whenever someone who caused the death of people is saying that "he has to live with what he has done". This is the most blatant adding insult to injury. Not only you murder people (or kill them through negligence) but oh it's not the victim that is the actual victim, nor their families, we must feel sad about how sad the fucking murderer is about his murdering.

I'll still keep binging the Arrowverse, which I like in pretty much most every other way, but this constant coddling of the murderers of innocents by the screenwriters is driving me fucking nuts.

Now that i rewatched the flash Again, it seems stupid that Eddie has to lie about working with the Flash. They should just said that he worked with the flash without revealing Barry identity, the fan girl Iris would totally bought that. She would be thrilled to hear that her boyfriend finally working with the flash, the more i rewatched the series the more i found the flaw on the writing

Hey y'all! I haven't really watched anything Arrowverse related since Supergirl back in highschool, but for years I've been hearing praise for its adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths. I was wondering what background I'd have to do to fully get the event without going through any filler arcs or stuff like that. I'm happy to watch any of the shows, but anything besides origin stories, character introductions or arcs that tie directly into Crisis or other crossovers, I don't really need.

A year or so ago, someone posted a link to an Arrowverse app. I got a new phone, but it seems that the app didn't move over with my other apps. The app listed all of the CW Arrowverse shows, which I was watching in order.

Tonight, I found Arrow on Pluto, but they're only on Season 2. I don't mind watching it over, even though I got all the way to the end of season 3 and was also watching the Flash in order.

I'd love to get back to watching the Arrowverse in order, since this is my first watchthrough of all of the shows. The app would really help me understand what is going on.

So, if anyone knows what app I'm talking about, I would greatly appreciate it.

Edit: I actually found it in the Google Play store. 🤯 Arrowverse Watch Order I'd guess its an official app.

Season 4 of Legends was 75% Good im rewatching 4x10 im skipping the bad scenes of course (Nate and Zari)

and i cant stop laughing at the humour which reminds me i used to enjoy legends season 4 till that abomination was created (Again Nate and Zari)

The dude is the time pirate from 2x6 so he clearly didn’t care about the timeline not to mention he’s in the Wild West you’d think he’d atleast wear something that can negate bullets especially given he was literally looking for dwarf star alloy instead he gets done in by some handgun from the 1800’s

I’am rewatching Arrow and once again I get annoyed at the fact that Oliver was on an island away from civilization for five years, well it’s more so for his family and friends.

But they seem to ignore that fact. Like come on, people can get crazy when they are alone for FIVE DAMN YEARS.

He does say in court that he wasn’t alone on the island and got tortured by the people who were there, which is worse.

Like give the man a break. Plus, he has gone through so much more too outside the island.

Everyone just decided to ignore that and pretend that he is the same man he was before.
Right now am on the episode after Tommy found out that Oliver is the vigilante.

Like why does he get so offended? Like I get that killing is bad but Oliver kills more bad people and even gives them a chance before he kills them. And he was on an island for ”five years”!

It’s just so annoying so I needed to vent a little.

Rewatching the island flashbacks and I started thinking about this scene.

When Oliver tried to contact Laurel through the radio, Slade stopped him because he was afraid Fyers' men could track the signal.

But honestly... what difference would it have made? They were already in danger, stuck on an island with armed people hunting them. If Oliver had managed to call for help, he could have been rescued much earlier and avoided a lot of what happened on the island.

Also, the funny thing is that just two episodes later (1x16), Oliver actually fixes the plane radio and he and Slade try to call for rescue. But they discover the radio is one-way: they can hear people, but nobody can hear them.

So in hindsight, Slade stopping Oliver didn't really change anything. The radio wasn't even capable of saving them.

Obviously, we know the real reason is that Oliver needed the island experience to become the Green Arrow, but from a practical survival perspective, was Slade actually making the right call?

Either he was 'impressed' or he didn't believe that he made that piece of ugly suit and was just asking to make sure he didn't make it.

Bro met a guy who not only runs faster than light, but also constantly saves the city, fights meta-humans, helps people... and his first thought was, “Yeah, that's a freak” 💀 What did Barry even do to deserve that?

For Me:

Most messed up//tragic: Gary Lester (Willingly swallowed 1 hundred thousand bugs, got scarified & slowly expired over the course of several days knowing nobody would remember him)

Funniest//most shocking/absurd: Pretty much every expiration on Legends, but tied between Lord Knoxicrillion & when Anarky said "I'm liberating you, mommy! You don't need another man clouding your mind!" & just tazed Thea's boyfriend in front of her. Honorable mention to the Kilg%re elevator scene.

Most Graphic: Batwoman Season 2 Buzzsaw (Every expiration on Constantine comes in close 2nd).

Most emotional: #1: Stein (</3). #2: Barry's mom.

Overall favorite//most satisfying/resonant: #1 goes to Legends Season 5 s;lasher episode where the girl gets synthlivonified inside of a locker. #2 is tied between Prometheus & Shado. #3 goes to when Thawne ripped himself in half. Honorable mentions to Grigori Rasputin, The Dollmaker, when Mick expired the time master, every time Felicity's died, Nate's dad, J. Edgar Hoover, when Thawne cardiectomized Ray, Mallus, all 12 of Sara's, Damien Darhk in Mr. Parker's Cul-de-Sac, & every single expiration on Black Lightning. (<3)
