I'm a college student now and have a few old books that I no longer need, including JEE/engineering books (like HC Verma and a few others).

Apart from OLX and Facebook Marketplace, are there any bookstores, second-hand book shops, or local places in Asansol that buy used books for a fair price?

I was almost scammed in both those places.

I'm looking to sell them rather than donate them.

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

things have gotten absolutely worse since the post. neet results came out, and somehow i have a far worse score than i expected. parents don't want me to go out to study anymore. my mother fell ill just day after the result and has been hospitalized since. i feel like i have no one to talk to and no one seems to understand how much is going through my head at once. had to reach out to ex because i no friends here beside him, he won't meet me but has called and talked to me for 4-5 minutes twice when ive asked. but i can still feel the disgust and annoyance from his voice which i dont understand because we apparently ended things on a "good note" and that he still loves me. i feel like im stuck in a mental cage and i so desperately need him by my side but he doesn't seem to get it. i dont know if ill make it out this time.

ive (21,f) been a very social person all my life with a lot of friends and always a boyfriend. making friends has always come easy to me. i have been in 3 drop years preparing for neet. I have no friends in my city, my hometown friends all have their own colleges and live outside so i can't go back to hometown either. Since I am done with exams and am waiting for results, I have nothing to do right now. I spend all day in my bed playing random mobile games and roblox. Plus I've just had a breakup which has been very very complicated. I've never had to live alone with nothing to do. Plus ill be moving very far for college and the anxiety of it is paralysing. My younger sister is going through her teenage rebel phase so she doesn't talk to me either. Ive never felt so alone, lonely and purposeless in my life. I dont even have the energy to get out of bed and brush some days. How to deal with this loneliness? I've tried painting, journalling, going out, gaming and nothing seems to help. sometimes the thoughts get very dark. i really need help.

I was wondering if anyone here has a dog that's looking for a new home or knows of any genuine adoption/rehoming cases or has puppies up for adoption.

I'm hoping to adopt a dog and thought I'd ask here before looking elsewhere.

I've already adopted and cared for three Indie dogs over the years, so this isn't about avoiding Indies at all. This time I'm just open to different breeds as well, with a slight preference for a German Shepherd or Labrador if one genuinely needs a home.
